Chapter Four

It was 8 am and Wendy just stepped into school to see Ahin and Nancy being all touchy with each other, Ahin's hand wrapped around Nancy's waist and Ahin constantly complimenting Nancy's outfit, hair, personality and more. Nancy knew it was just a dare, but she really liked it. Wendy could see a light shade of blush spread across Nancy's face whenever Ahin complimented her.

As she walked down the hallway, she could see Seulgi trying to hug Yeri but Yeri backing away and Jennie holding hands with Chaeyoung.

Wendy was no where in Irene's sight. Irene grew nervous, what if Wendy had skipped school or was avoiding her? She grew embarrassed at the thought until she saw Wendy running down the hallway, embracing Wendy in a tight hug.

"Wendy, there you are! I've been looking for you." Irene let go of Wendy and smiled, Wendy's heartbeat growing by the second. She never thought she'd think this, but Irene is really cute when she acts so lovey-dovey.

"Sorry, I woke up a bit late today." Wendy responded, giving an awkward smile. Irene would never admit it, but her little nerdy smile was adorable.

"Let's go to class, I'll walk you!" Irene said, latching onto Wendy's arm. Wendy jumped a bit at the sudden action, but she enjoyed it. It felt nice to have someone holding onto her, someone walking her to class, someone giving her their undivided attention.

"Ah, Irene is so cute like this.." Wendy though, walking to her Japanese class before she really started questioning what she was thinking.

"What am I thinking!? I'm taking this too seriously, as if we're in a real relationship!" Wendy thought, worrying herself. She brushed it off and entered her Japanese class and Irene walked off to her class before blowing a kiss to Wendy, leaving the younger girl shocked.

Irene walked off to her class with Jennie, talking about their day. "So, how's it going with Chae?" Irene asked, the two girls walking down the long hallway.

"Honestly, I'm really suprised we were paired. We've barely talked all school year and only know each other because of Nayeon, so it's been kinda awkward acting loving towards someone I barely know." Jennie responded, a long sigh at the end of her response.

"Awe, sorry to hear." Irene said, Jennie smiling. "It's alright, it's just 15 days. What about you and Wendy?" Jennie asked.

"Tch, me and Wendy? That girl has never been in a relationship, she's so hard to talk to. She's so awkward with everything! I ask her why she's late and she gives me a weird dorky smile." Irene said, rolling her eyes.

"Heh, sounds like a pain." Jennie responded. "Oh, we're here." Jennie said, her and Irene looking in front of them to see their History class.

"Let's go, we can finish talking about Wendy later." Irene said, Jennie nodding her head in agreement. The two then walked into the classroom, sitting where they usually sit.
