Chapter 2 : Heartache

He was not desperate to live but he was given a second chance to actually being able to breathe again. Growing up with the wealthy of his family, pampered by the money, he was feared. Not because of his family but because of his attitude.

Since the incident he nearly drowned, he was informed that he had slept for 10 days. As soon as he woke up, he noticed something different about him. He tried to deny the things he’s been seeing and repeatedly convince himself that it was just an illusion.

But as the days passed, he became afraid because he realizes what he saw was not really human. His behavior became increasingly changing, sometimes he had to be supported by the maid of his house because he refused to enter his room or goes to his house alone. He would scream for no reason as the creature suddenly appears in front of him. He also refused to eat or he will stop eating when the creature he’s been seeing trying to sniff and lick the food on the table. He even saw a flying skeleton outside his house several times.

He became depressed and would cry for no reason which makes his father shut him in his room as punishment for talking about silly things. He tried to injure himself by scratching his eyes and twisting his ears until it swollen. His father had no choice other than to stop him from going to school and just hired a private tutor to teach him at home. Their private doctor said he had a mental disease call "Paranoid Schizophrenia"

“You saw it didn’t you? Hyung~! Jebal…” said Wol.

“It keeps following Appa. Wuarrgghhhh~!” He screamed as the creature that clinging at the back of his father squinting at him.

“We’re twins, how come you didn’t see it…” wiping his tears as he was sobbing, he knew that his brother was able to see it too but he’s just pretending not to see it.

He’s brother look at him with his sarcastic eyes, slowly walk to him and whisper “We’re not twins. Get over it. We’re just born in a same years. Don’t you get it?”

He was stunt by his brother words; his eyes became red, his heart beat so fast that he couldn’t differentiate his anger and heartache. His hand was shaking as his right hand was touching his chest, he felt like he was suffocated in a plastic; feeling asphyxiate he fell on his knee.

“You’re an embarrassment to this family. You’re scaring people around you and they’re even avoiding me for I am your brother. Tell me how I am supposed to react on your action now? How I am supposed to walk next to an omen??! Why can’t you just pretend not to see it weirdo. Can’t you at least pretend?! PRETEND for God sakes Wol!”

"Hae Min! How dare you speak rudely to your brother! Go into the room you now!" shouted a woman aged 30s who overheard the conversation between the siblings when she was on her way to her room.

Hae Nim just acting cool and push his brother and hurriedly walk to his room and shut the door firmly until the vase which is next door to shakes.

The woman rushed up to him and immediately helped him to stand up, wiping the tears that fall apart. She tried to calm the boy, while she wanted to hug him; the boy immediately pushes her away and said the woman.

“Stop acting like my mother. You’re just my Appa mistress. Nothing but a filthy gold digger mistress, now keep your dirty hands off me Sectary Shin Ah Jong.” said the eight years old boy with his swollen eyes and goes down the stairs.

The woman was glued by the words that come out from the mouth of the 8 years old boy. His words were so violent than the adult mouth, she couldn’t stand up for a minutes. Her hand and leg were shaking.
