silver clouds shining against the pale blue
silent flakes floating down
whisper of wind
a blanket of cold gently covering wooden branches
brumous air filling with laughter
minds finally clear
golden rays against the pristine white
eyes shining brighter than the light
magic through the joy from the sky
the quiet whisper of frost
creeping up on the windows
protecting the warmth from making its escape
steaming cups passed around
talk lost to the wind
warmth in smiles
all in the brumous night
