"Straight up"

We had played games and matches for two hours  , until the coaches told us to stop 

I went to JJ for water  because he had my bag  and Devon came , he was as tall as JJ  with a brown skin complexion he had charming braces that made he have a baby face but , I didn't really know him and I all knew was he was Jordans friend 

he came and smiled saying "I think you made the team " 

Me; How would you know that ?

JJ;He's the captain of the basket ball team and he knows when the coaches think you made the team

Devon; Yeah pretty much , thanks bro 

they both high-fived and handshake , I was slowly walking back   as Devon as talking to JJ

until he saw trying to leave 

JJ;Michelle why are you trying to leave ?

Me;Umm

Devon; Just because I am Jordans friend doesn't  , I am Jordan 

he patted me on the head it was a friendly gesture to let me know it cool and I smiled back , I went out to fetch some more water and I saw Jordan  

My thoughts ; I was then like yo what. if he tries to hurt me again 

he then looked at me and walked away  , I was so surpised , I thought I was dreaming or something  because there was no way Jordan walked away. like that without inflicting pain on others . I  was so happy ,  I went back in the gym  and it was time  to go home , their were going to see the players who made the team on the school  bill board 

 I and Jeremiah left to go home 

he started to drive his car and it was silent

JJ;Why are you not talking ?, tell me what your thinking about 

Me;So you know Jordan

JJ;Of course I know him , he 

Me;Yeah , I saw him today and he  didn't do anything he just looked away 

JJ;He knows what good for him now 

Me;JJ I am serious , there's something. wrong with him

JJ;At least he's not making you cry , aren't you happy 

Me;Yeah but -

JJ;But nothing , don't let him bother your thoughts 

he had arrived at my house  Troy  was up. stairs looking at us from his window 

I thought I was the only one who could see him  but JJ could see him to 

JJ;He still doesn't trust me doesn't he ?

Me;Yeah 

JJ;Look if I really wanted to use you for my  own satisfaction I would  have already done it 

I swallowed my spite in fear , he looked serious when he said that but thank God he is not that type of person
