(Lapis's POV)
It was January 21, 2017. I have had it with our president and joined the march. It was a pretty large crowd. They were all angry and so was I! He was racist, homophobic, and rude! How could anyone even elect him? I held my sign up high and yelled. My sign read "Women's Rights are Human Rights!" I kept yelling what my sign read. There were some guards around keeping people away from some places. Why should they be doing that? Can't they see how awful our president treats the economy "Women's Rights are Human Rights!" I screamed. Other people were chanting their own things. I saw a bystander pushing away some people. I was furious. "Hey!" I yelled. "What's your problem?" The person just shrugged. "You don't need to yell. This entire thing is useless." "Don't you understand how much frustration our idiotic dictator has caused us?" The guy just kept playing it off like nothing. I smacked him with my sign and punched him in the nose. I saw a cop running at me. In a panic, I threw the sign and ran. "Shoot!" I yelled running off. I saw a blonde girl hopping on her motorcycle. I quickly jumped on and just yelled "DRIVE! F*CKING DRIVE!" She quickly did what I said and we both sped away. "What the heck was that!?" She asked. "What would you do with the cops!?" I said defensively.
(Peridots POV)
I got my motorcycle fixed. I saw a nearby protest. I supported it of course but I also didn't want to get pushed considering how I normally can be in crowds. I was just about to go home until someone just jumped on and screamed at me. "DRIVE! F*CKING DRIVE!" I got scared and quickly went. "Please don't be a robber. Please don't be a robber. Please don't be a robber." I thought to myself. "What the heck was that!?" I yelled. "What would you do with the cops?" The lady said back. "What'd you even do to get them on your tail?" I asked. "I smacked someone with my sign and punched them. They thought the protest was stupid and worthless." I groaned. "I hate those people. It's like they're suffering a brain damage that makes them the worst human beings on the planet." "He was a jerk." I kept driving the motorcycle. "I'm Peridot." "It's Lapis. Lapis Lazuli." She responded. "Next time down yell at me to drive. I thought you were robbing me." I pulled over to a nearby diner and offered to buy lunch. Lapis agreed. We were both pretty hungry. We both kinda laughed while eating considering what just happened.
(3 Years Later)
"And that's how I met my girlfriend!" Lapis said. Steven and Connie looked up amazed. "Wow. That's awesome!" Connie said. "It's a fun story to tell," Lapis said. "Mostly as gatherings. Pearl hates the story though." "Because you don't have to curse in front of them both!" Pearl yelled from the laundry room. "Then it wouldn't be the full story would it?" I shouted back defensively.
