I wake up to Emmy, "I love you" I say. She smiles and whispers that she loves me too. I sigh and start to sit up.
"Easy love" Emmy says, I smile and she helps me, as I get up off the bed I nearly fall. Emmy ducks under my arm and helps me walk to the living room.
"Hey everyone" I say once we are there, I wince as my clothes pull my side.
"Hey, we are glad your alive, Emmy wouldn't shut up" Jay says, Emmy blushes and I turn to kiss her, she kisses back with fierce possessiveness.
"Ugh, get a room" Hunter says as she shields her and her brothers eyes.
"Sorry" I mutter against Emmys lips.
Gold runs up to me and I gingerly kneel down to pet her, woof. I laugh as she starts to chase her tail. Toby laughs at me and as quick as a flash I shoot up, my side stings but I don't really care as long as Emmy is safe.
"Want some food?" Toby asks and I nod.
Emmy goes in the kitchen and gets me some food, when she comes back my mouth waters, the smell of pasta is nearly to much to bear, my stomach growls and every one laughs.
I eat like a starved wolf, which I am. Emmy sits ad eats next to me and the rest eat in various places, Jet eats near the door, and hunter eats next to him. Jaze eats with Toby and Jay and everyone is content.
I sigh and lean back on the sofa, my eyes start to close on their own and I fight them.
"Go to sleep, you will heal better" Emmy says next to me, I roll my eyes and lay my head on her shoulders.
My dreams are filled with Emmy and I can finally relax knowing she is safe and sound.
I yawn as I start to awaken, Emmy kisses my cheek, I open my eyes and say "I'm glad I meet you, without you I would not have been able to find myself"
"I think it's time we take that holiday" she laughs.
"So do I" I reply
I pick up the laptop on the table and put it on my knee, "where would you like to go?" I ask
"A place where there are lots of woods" she says.
"Ok, Scotland?" I say, she shakes her head.
"How about abroad?" She says
"Somewhere warm I'm guessing, Greece? I'm not sure if there are lots if woods" I ask.
"Yes" she says as her eyes light up.
"Let me go talk to Toby, I love you" I say kissing her then getting up.
"Ok, hurry back" she says.
I awl into Toby bedroom and see him with his head in his hands. "what's up?" I ask.
"We just got wind that people are trying to make werewolves" he says.
"Well me and Emmy are with you all the way, you will find and end them" I say trying to help.
"Yes I hope so, how come you wanted to see me?" He asks, more calmer.
"I can come back if needed" I say, not wanting to kick him while he's down.
"No go on" he says.
"Me and Emmy are thinking of having a holiday in Greece if that's ok?" I ask
"What God yes, why would you seek my approval?"
"Because I want you to know we are still here for the pack and we won't go without you knowing" I say
"Yes if course, how long?" He asks.
"Two weeks if that's ok" I say hoping it will be ok.
"Yes, have a nice time. Your pack and I think of you as a brother, don't ever ask for my consent again, you can do what you want and if we need you we will call" he says
"Thank you thank you" I say while hugging him. I need to go tell Emmy" I say ravening to the living room.
"Em, great news. we can go for two weeks" I say.
She squeals with delight, "yes" she says while kissing me.
"You can pick the hotel and everything" I say
"Yes of course" she says. I watch as she does the booking and see the light in her eyes. I know we are going to go on lots of holidays.
********three days later************
"Have you it your bags packed?" I ask my mate, Emmy.
"Yes coming now" she shouts, I laugh as she tries to bring the heavy bags down the stairs.
"I got it" I say to her meeting her half way to carry them down.
I pull her close and kiss her "I love you" I say as we head for the car.
She giggles and tells me she loves me too, I sigh and hug her, her scent wraps around me like a blanket.
We get in the car and everyone apart from Toby, who is driving, comes out to say bye.
"See ya, be easy while we are gone" I say.
"Bye see you soon, don't have too much fun" they all say in unison.
I laugh at them and the car pulls out of the drive. "you ok Toby?" I ask.
"Yes just we aren't close to finding who is trying to make werewolves" he says and Emmy gasps.
"Oops I forgot I tell you that" I say to Emmy.
"It's ok" she says smiling.
"You will find them" I say to Toby.
He nods and we carry on the journey in silence, when we arrive at the airport Toby hugs us both and says he's going to miss us. we say the same and head to the plane.
