Maddox was walking through the castle halls all the way to the prince's room like every other morning ever since he worked at the castle, you could say that he knows his way around the castle by heart. Reaching the all too familiar door, he knocked a couple of times and announced his presence.

“Prince Hongjoong, time for breakfast”

Strange, was the only thing that crosses the servant's mind, the older would usually hear a response even a little hum of acknowledgement at most, he then noticed that something was a bit off, it was a lot more quiet in the room than usual. Not wanting to keep the king and queen waiting for their son, the servant pushed opened the door and he was greeted with silence. The prince was nowhere in sight; he didn't hear the bathe running, no humming in the walk-in closet, the room was completely deserted, thinking all the possible reasons on as to why the blonde wasn't in the room, it was then he saw it.

One of his biggest fears of being the prince's servant started coming to life, on the wooden desk in the room, he caught sight of a black envelope laying harmlessly on top of the furniture, grabbing the mysterious letter with shaky hands, he couldn't believe what he was seeing, the only thing he could do now was to tell the king about the matter.

He started running as fast as he ever ran in his entire life, he just needed to let the king and queen know what was happening to their son, seeing the doors to the dining hall, he bursted through the doors not caring how he looked at the moment as he needed to relay the message.

“Maddox what has-”

“Your majesty, your son has been kidnapped”

The king and queen both froze in shock, their nightmares were starting to come true.

“What- what do you mean my son has been kidnapped!?”

“His majesty was not in his room, and when I looked for him... I saw this on his sire's desk”

Giving the letter that he had, the king opened the folded paper and began reading, after reading it his face was blank, he couldn't believe what he was reading.

“What does it say, darling?”

Looking at his wife, he saw her eyes become glossy, tears were starting to form that would soon fall. Not having the heart to tell his wife, he only gave her the envelope to read it for herself, with the letter in her hands, she read it through and when she finished, it was then she noticed the tears that already fell.

“Darling... w-what are we g-going to do?” The queen was bawling her eyes out at this point, she couldn't fathom how much her son was suffering from the people who kidnapped him.

“Don't worry, we'll get him back. I promise”

Consoling his crying wife, he let the maids take her to their room to calm down. When out of the room, the king started barking orders to the guards to try and find their missing son, he wasn't going to let the one behind the scheme win, not without a fight, he just hopes that his son could wait a bit longer.

Meanwhile, the queen manage to calm down a bit, sure she was sniffling and a few tears were still escaping her eyes, but it was better than nothing. In her mind, many thoughts about her son were passing through, was he safe? Were the captors hurting him? Before more thought invaded her mind, a knock sounded at the door and in came Maddox with a tray with water and a sandwich, now that she thought about it, she didn't eat her breakfast because of the sudden news brought upon them.

“Your majesty, I brought you a sandwich, seeing as you didn't ate anything”

“Thank you Maddox”

Placing the tray on the nightstand near the bed, the servant bowed to tell the queen that he was leaving, until she had an idea.

“Maddox, wait”

“Yes your majesty?”

“Can you get royal messenger for me?”

“Of course your majesty, but... If I may ask, why?”

“We need to tell Prince Seonghwa and the other princes”

-
At the Park kingdom, Seonghwa and his parent were playing a game of croquet, the queen decided to have a little 'family bonding' as she liked to put it.

Hitting the red ball through the wicket and colliding with the stake in the ground, the blond won the third round of their game.

“Ah, that's a win for each of us. Another round?” His father asked.

“Why not”

Rearranging the balls back to the starting point, the queen was the first one to swing the mallet, until.

“Your majesties!”

Looking at the person who called them, one of the castle servants came rushing towards them, while waving a letter in his hands.

“Keonhee? What are you doing here? What's that in you hands?”
Seonghwa asked.

“A letter from his and her highness' King Kim... Their son's been captured”

Having a tight grip on his mallet until his knuckles turn white, the silver haired was seething with anger hearing the news.

“What!? By who?!”

“They have yet to know them sire, but they're trying to find him. They even contacted the other princes, Queen Kim wants help sire”

“I'm going”

“Seonghwa wait, what are you planning to do?” His mother asked.

“Mother, Hongjoong's the love of my life and I can't afford to lose him, I'm going to go find him”

His parents looked at one another seeming to come with a silent agreement.

“Go. I'll send some guards to help with the search” His father told him.

Leaving his parents to go to the Kim kingdom, Seonghwa was determined to find his lover, he just hopes he isn't to late.
