Chapter Nine -

We spent the afternoon chilling out on the beach. We all sat and have a massive picnic, sang a few songs, and went swimming. We all were now sitting around a small lit fire

"Who's going to tell the first ghost story?" Harry asked, pulling Tara closer to him

"Come on Lou, you've got to know some" Liam piped in, planting a kiss on Joor's forehead.

"We all know you just want us scared so we'll cuddle in close" I glared at the boys

"It's all part of a big plan" Joor giggled, pulling out of Liam's arms

"No I swear it's not" Louis pouted "Niall wants to hear a scary story and he doesn't have a girlfriend with him" He pointed at Niall who looked up with a small smile

"Hey, that's not nice to his left hand" Harry commented, making every one laugh at Niall's expense, who just sat with his guitar blushing madly.

"Remember when we found this place last year and we saw that ghost Niall?" Louis started, Niall nodded

"Yeah we went into the light house and we heard a man's voice moaning and coming up the stairs" He added

"No you didn't" Joor slowly eased herself back into Liam's arms slightly scared

"Don't believe us them come into the lighthouse" Louis grinned, standing up

"I am not going" Niall shook his head throwing an arm in the air "I'm not crossing paths with that ghost again"

"You're so superstitious" Harry teased

"No, I'm Irish" Niall pointed at Harry "You go then"

"Tara and I were actually going to go for a walk" He said, standing up and helping Tara up who waved before walking with Harry. Louis turned to me

"Well I know Joor is a big pair of girly knickers"

"Hey!" Joor yelled at Louis

"Want to come with me?" I bit my lip "Unless you're scared" He taunted me. I stood up

"Bring it. Bet I can go further than you" I smiled, pulling on my red too hot to handle shirt over my bikini top and standing up. "Louis will be back crying in a bit" I stated as I strutted past him, my shoulder knocking into his as I walked.

"I'm not scared" Louis shouted, running up to catch up with me. We walked in silence and it wasn't awkward. A comfortable silence. I stepped up first on to the broken rocky stairs leading up to the pathway. "Watch your step" Louis warned as we slowly crept up to the door. I went to turn the door knob, but it was seized shut

"It's locked" I turned to face Louis. He then tried it

"Ok, stand back" I stood behind Louis as he kicked the door loudly a few times. It strung free and swung wide open

"Is it illegal to kick down a door and break into here?" I asked, suddenly skeptical of our adventure "I don't want to get deported over this" Louis stepped inside as I stood timidly in the doorway.

"You'll be fine" His eyes caught mine as he reached down for my hand. I felt sparks shoot through my arm and butterflies release in my stomach. I quickly withdrew it "For safety" He confirmed "It's dark" He held my hand tightly as I stepped through. Louis was now leading me up the staircase.

"This is so beautiful" I whispered, stopping on the winding staircase to look out of the slit windows.

"I imagine it was when it was in use" He confirmed, his lips lightly brushing my ear making my head swoon. We continued walking up the creaking steps when the door suddenly slammed shut below us. I jumped and squeezed Louis's hand tightly
