Chapter Fifteen -
Emma headed home the next day, bright in the morning. Louis drove me home so I didn't get a chance to see her before she left. The next few days were fairly uneventful, I had dinner with Louis every night in the park. I finally got rid of my crutches. I still had a slight limp, but one more week of parades than I should be back in the park signing autographs and posing for pictures with complete strangers. I walked out of the costume building after the afternoon parade to see Louis waiting for me.
"Ready?" He asked, standing up from the bench he was sitting on. I nodded as we started making our way out of the park. Today I was going home for Emma's wedding.
"Thanks for driving me to the airport" I looked at him and smiled. Louis and I have been getting a lot closer since our little dinner dates. Louis opened the car door for me, making me blush a little
"You're cute when you blush" He commented, closing the door and walking around to the driver's side. "I'm going to miss you" He said, sitting down in his mini and facing me. "All your smiles, little jokes" He took hold of one of my hands "All your little Canadian-isms" He winked, kissing my hand
"Louis" I whispered, blushing a little more than I was already. He gave my hand a quick squeeze before turning on the car and driving towards the airport. "Did you get my suitcase ok?" I asked, my eyes glued to the beach as we drove past it
"Yeah, Joor was at the hotel to let me in so it was a breeze" He smiled at me "Just do me a favour?" I turned to face him
"Depends what the favour is... I'm not smuggling drugs for you" I warned him before letting out a small giggle
"Darn it" Louis lightly smacked the steering wheel, making me laugh "just... Don't open your suitcase until you go to bed" I looked at him confused "Promise?" He asked, glancing quickly at me before focusing back on the road
"Yeah... sure" I agreed, "I don't know what to expect though" I commented, confused and a little scared of what might be in my suitcase
"Nothing scary, or anything that should hold you up at security" He smiled.
"Doesn't mean I trust you" I muttered, making him laugh. We sat comfortably in silence until we arrived at the airport. Louis turned the radio down
"I hate this places, flipping mazes" He muttered, trying to read the directional signs as we drove by them
"You can drop me off at the gate, no need to park the car" I explained, as he missed the turning for the kiss and drop land
"Don't be silly" Louis rubbed my leg before turning into the entrance for the short term stay parking. He got a ticket and the barrier lifted. He parked the car and turned to face me. "As if I'm letting you leave with just a kiss and a hug" His blue eyes turned a lustful teal once again. Butterflies filled my stomach every time they did, making me feel like the only girl in the world. Louis got out the car and pulled out my suitcase, I climbed out and held his hand as we walked into the airport.
"I know I'm only going for a few days" I started, as we stood in line at the check in counter "But I'm going to miss you" I looked up at him, his infectious smile crept on my lips
"I'm going to miss you too Caitey baby" He whispered, squeezing my hand a little tighter. I walked up to the counter with my passport and plane ticket. Louis set my suitcase up on the scale. Everything flew like clockwork, and I was standing outside the security gate with Louis.
"I wish you could just come with me" I hugged Louis tightly
"We'll make it" Louis spoke into my hair, nuzzling it slightly
"I'm only going for three days but it feels like I'm leaving for years" I giggled, pulling out of our hug. Louis looked down at me, his lips pursed slightly, arms still tightly around my hips. He slowly leant down as I rose up to my tip toes and we kissed. The butterflies multiplied as I felt his body pressed so closely to mine. We massaged our lips together for what felt like forever, before breaking it. I rested my forehead against Louis's
"Goodbye Caitey baby" He whispered, kissing my lips once again
"Good bye Louis" I blushed, stepping out of our hug and picking up my carry on purse that sat on the ground next to us.
"Let me know when you land ok?" I nodded as we waved.
Did Louis Tomlinson just kiss me?

Tomorrow is the big day. I stood in the living room posing for Emma in the bridesmaid dress she ordered me. She grimaced when she looked at it "It's hideous" She cried out, burying her face in her hands. I sat down next to her on the couch.
"Come on Em, it's not that bad" I looked at the dress I was wearing and tried my best to lie. The dress was truly disgusting. It pooled around my ankles as the full length was too long, there was a massive daring slip up the front that barely kept my dignity, and the top was pleated in a manner that made it looked creased and in need of a good ironing. The best part of the dress? The vomit green colour it was.
"I thought a colour named Paris would sound romantic on dresses" Emma moaned into her hands
"You ordered the dress without looking at the colour?" I looked at her shocked. I took a deep breath "I'll fix it before the wedding, don't worry" I smiled, rubbing her back soothingly
"Are you sure you're going to have enough time? I don't want you to be rushed" Emma looked at me unsure
"Trust me Em, I'll fix it. I do go to school for fashion design" I pointed out, making her smile reassured
"You're amazing" Emma hugged me tightly. "Now strip before I add my own vomit to that dress" She pushed me off the couch. I started walking up the stairs to my room, Emma followed me and sat on my bed as I changed back into my clothes "So how's Louis?" Emma asked, looked around my room. I grinned madly
"Great" I sighed, looking at my suitcase, still closed
"You haven't unpacked yet?" Emma asked, noticing my glaze was at my suitcase "You arrived this morning and been here all day" Emma stated, picking up my suitcase and throwing it on my bed
"Don't open it" I quickly stated, practically throwing myself onto the case. Emma smirked
"Why?"
"Louis packed me something and doesn't want me looking at it till I go to bed" I admitted quietly, blushing a bright hue of red
"And you're actually waiting?" Emma raised an eyebrow. I suddenly felt the curiosity run through my body again. I looked at her and she winked at me
"No" I smiled devilishly and got off the suitcase and continued to open it.
"Oh my god!" Emma squealed as she looked at my suitcase. I couldn't help but feel those butterflies fill my stomach once again. In my suitcase sat a teddy bear wearing a blue Thrill-Ville shirt with a name tag on it that said 'Boo Bear'. I picked it up and hugged it close to my face, where I smelt Louis's cologne.
"I can't believe him" I let a tear slip down my face. I passed Emma the bear, she stroked its head and pulled fixed its shirt
"That's just so cute" She looked at me beaming. I suddenly remembered Emma's present was in my suitcase. I slammed the lid shut causing Emma to jump
"Sorry, I remembered your wedding gift was in there" I giggled, taking Boo Bear back from Emma and sitting him at the head of my bed on my pillow.
"Talking about the wedding, the rehearsal dinner is tonight" Emma said, her eyes drifting between me and the teddy bear "It's at Oliver's" I looked at Emma unsure "You know, at the mall"
"I know it's at the mall. Zayn works there" I explained. Emma's face dropped
"Oh... You don't have to come?" She offered, her voice quivered unsure of my answer. I shook my head
"I have to come, I'm the maid of honour and your only bridesmaid" I giggled "I'll be fine. It'll be good to see him again as a friend" I nodded, trying to convinced myself of it.
