Chapter 12: Going to the Louvre

At the Louvre, the van was parked and Gina, Marinette, Marin, Bridgette, and Timmy get out, they close the doors and Gina locked up the locks and put the keys in her pocket.

Gina: Okay, let's go. *They head inside the Louvre.* Hmm. "Welcoming the new addition to the Dinosaur Exhibit. Unveiling's at 7:00 pm." Interesting.

Marinette: Hmm. What can we see?

Marin: I'm sure they got something new.

Bridgette: Look. The Polynesia Girl painting.

Marin: Oh yeah, that. *They go up to the painting.

Timmy: Who painted that?

Marinette: It says by a French Post-impressionist Paul Gauguin.

Timmy: Wow. He did a lot of these paintings?

Marinette: Some of them, but different ones are by different French artists and sculptors.

Gina: Looks like someone knows how to handle this many colors. "The Yellow Christ".

Timmy: What's that one? *He points at the painting next to the statue, they go up to the painting.*

Bridgette: "Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh." Wonder what made him do this painting? It's nice.

Marinette: I learned about this one. Guess it conveys a strong feeling of hope through the bright lights on a landscape.

Bridgette: I like it.

Alim: That was one of Vincent Van Gogh's best works. *He and Alix walk up toward them.* Hello.

Alix: Hi, Marinette.

Marinette: Hey.

Alim: You're all looking forward to the unveiling tonight?

Bridgette: We are. We're just wondering what it is.

Alim: You'll see it tonight. But all I know is it's in the Dinosaur exhibit.

Male citizen: Oh, Mr. Kubdel, can you tell us about the statue of David?

Alim: Oh yes. I'll let you guys get on with your looking around in the museum. *He goes to the people and explains the Statue of David, and Alix stays behind with them.*

Marin: Hey Alix, you know about the unveiling tonight?

Alix: Yeah. My old man told me about it. He told me not to tell you guys about what is being revealed.

Marin: Come on. You can tell us. We won't say a word to anybody.

Alix: Okay. Come closer. *They go up to Alix and she whispered into Marinette's ear, then to Marin, Bridgette, and Timmy, they were surprised.*

Bridgette: Seriously?

Alix: Yep. You'll like it. See you later. *She walks away.*

Gina: Kids, come look at this painting. *They go see their Nona and look at the next painting.*

In the Volcano Lair, Scarlet Truther waits for Deceptron to come.

Scarlet Truther: Ugh. Where is he? My patience is limited. *Soon, the double doors start to open and Syndrome and Deceptron came out.* Finally, I thought you would never get here.

Syndrome: Had to have a little talk with the new apprentice. Say hello to Deceptron.

Scarlet Truther: Hmm. What can he do?

Syndrome: Tell her what you can do.

Deceptron: I have the power to consume lies from people to power up my bolt blaster.

Scarlet Truther: A liar villain? Impressive.

Syndrome: I'll let you explain to him what he has to do. I got something down in the lab I have to get done. *He walks away.*

Scarlet Truther: Follow me. You'll be going to... *She makes the location appear on the screen.* Paris, France. You will be dealing with these people. *She press a button and made a picture of Ladybug, Black Panther, White Fang, Eagle, Viperia, Mister Quills, and Blue Feather appear.* That's your target. Defeating and getting their miraculous. Pay attention to what miraculous artifacts they have. Ladybug has the earrings, Black Panther has the ring, White Fang got a pendant, Eagle got a talon pendant, Viperia for a snake bracelet, Mister Quills got a bracelet, and Blue Feather got the hair clip. You get them and a special reward will be all yours if you succeed in this one.

Deceptron: I won't let you down.

Scarlet Truther: Good. Get the teleporter ready for Deceptron. He must feed on lies. *They get the teleporter ready for him.* Let's see what he can do.
