Previously on Sonic UA...

The Freedom Fighters fought to reclaim Mobotropolis and bring down the Iron Dominion.

In the resulting fight, all forces were down, the Iron King is assumed dead and Iron Queen will be imprisoned for life.

Unfortunately, they are still back to square one on how the Acorn Royal family should return.

While the king has been recovered from the Zone of Silence, he is unable to do anything, slowly getting crystallized each day.

Though the common idea is to get Sally to succeed her father, she feels she is in no position to be given the burden of a whole kingdom.

To make matters worse for our heroes, Nicole's reputation is in ruins from the Iron Queen's take over, people no longer trusting her with their safety.

Meanwhile, no one has heard what Snively and Ixis Naugus' next plans are, the duo being silent for the time being.

At this point, ANYTHING can happen in the next few days.

How will the Freedom Fighters restore order and freedom to this nation?

All seemed quiet in a certain part of the woods, though that didn't last long.

Suddenly, a Warp Ring just teleported someone to this reality.

It was a female red fox wearing a black outfit and a yellow bow.

She groans from the dizzy feeling. "I actually made it in one piece this time."

The fox uses a headpiece she was wearing. "Destructix....tell me where you wanted to...."

She realizes they weren't responding.

She called again, clearly annoyed they might be toying with her. "Hey jerks, pick up already! I'm not in the mood!"

No response. It was completely dead on her end.

She responds back more worried now. "H-Hello? Lightning? Predator? Scourge? Anybody?"

Nothing. She was all alone now.

The fox looks down. "I'm...the only one? I'm....all alone..."

She tries to get out of this mood, responding back with a weak annoyance. "Whatever! It's not like I could've counted on any of them. Especially not...."

The fox took off her headpiece, trying to hold back her emotions when thinking of someone.

Out of the blue, she heard the sound of an engine and sees the Tornado flying in the sky.

She responds back somewhat surprised. "I-It couldn't be..."

The fox looks at her headpiece before dropping it on the ground and saying, "Huh? Guess I'm due for a new start."

She crushes the headpiece underneath her shoes before walking away from the scene.

"Let's go make some new friends." She says before giggling, making her way towards the direction the plane went in.

Class was sitting down and drinking tea before asking. "Why did you call me here, your highness?"

Sally was sitting across from him. "You can call me by my name, Edward Woofwell. I'm not in charge of the throne, so we are pretty much equals in this conversation."

Class replies back to her. "Not exactly something I can promise if your recent popularity as a leader is anything to go on. Though what manner of business requires my presence?"

Sally answered him. "First off, I plan on your family's honor and titles being restored, as well as returning the territory you lost when your grandfather was put on trial for espionage and treason. But I need your help to find out what he was really doing that caught him in this mess."

Class takes a sip before giving his take on the matter. "Finding the real guilty party is easier said than done. Even with my resources and data, I still cannot find the group my grandfather was trying to stop."

Sally looks a little surprised. "There was a secret group of traitors that your grandfather was trying to expose?"

Class nods and puts his drink down. "Yes. Think of it as Mobotropolis' secret society. You think the Royal family is in charge, but they are the ones pulling the strings. They originated during the Great War, so a chaotic moment in history was perfect for them to blend in."

Sally asked. "What stopped them from taking over when Robotnik least expected it?"

Class answered. "Someone with real bold nerves of steel stood up to them and they went underground for the time being. But that doesn't mean they're gone for good."

Sally nods in understanding. "We will work on dealing with them once we deal with issue of the empty throne."

Class shakes his head. "Pardon me, your highness, but the throne and crown are your positions now. With the king out of commission, you are the only one left in the lineage that can lead the people."

Sally replies to his statement. "No. They're is someone else we are going to find to fix this."

Class asked while being skeptical of her denial. "And who are we looking for that could replace you?"

Sally answered. "We will find my older brother: Elias Acorn."
