Aura and friends have been reunited with Sonic and his friends.
They now move their sights to trying to find King Max, Sally's father.
Unfortunately, Aura has long forgotten where he was being taken
Aura's mentor, Sensei Ki, suggests trying an old technique to recover it.
The plan is for two heroes to be consciously sent into Aura's memories to find the moment he tried to save the king.
While Ki will do the technique, everyone else tries to stabilize Aura.
The two heroes will get some special assistance from the newest member of the team.

Sonic looks at the old man about to start on Aura. "Are you sure this is gonna work?"
Ki nods. "Yes, but I need to leave you with a warning."
Sonic sighs. "What could go wrong?"
Ki looks at him. "For starters, you will have to go through majority of Aura's memories. Sending you to the exact memory quickly could result in your mind crashing from the sudden impact."
Sonic grins nervously and sweats. "So we just need to travel through Aura's worst moments and nightmares?"
Ki frowns. "Not just that. Remember that Aura's most tragic memory was what happened to his parents?"
Sonic nods. "Yeah? So what's the catch?"
Ki answers. "If you stay in that memory for too long.....Aura will be knocked into a coma.....permanently."
Sonic's mouth hangs open. "What?!"
Ki adds. "If the damage is too much, you two could be stuck inside Aura's mind."
Sally speaks up. "We could try to revive you both...but Aura can't recover if this goes wrong."
Sonic face palms. "Way to make this more dark than it already is!"
Ki responds. "Aura will be calm for you, be you need to be brave for him."
Sonic nods. "Ok. Here goes nothing!"
Ki starts it as Sonic and your OC feel tired and drift off to sleep.
