// Kimbriella

"Kim, you have literally been sleeping for, like, two days,"

"Shut the fuck up please." My face still remains shoved into the pillow while a grumble mildly accumulates in my chest. I could feel the heat in my blood spiking onto my cheeks as the morning sun pierces through the open windows. The heat was beating through the blankets.

Gabriella was across the room, folding laundry. The fact that it was around seven o'clock in the morning really pissed me off, because she's never awake before noon. That means she's most likely getting her chores out of the way in case Mom tries to hold her back from going out tonight. She did that often, it's just never been so annoying.

She had the radio thumping, drawers slamming shut, bright sun flooding into the room, and she kept tossing my clothes at me instead of putting them on my dresser. My jaw clenches as another shirt lands on my side.

"I just think it's weird because you never sleep. You look fucking awful, by the way," She says casually.

"Thank you."

"Mhhmm. Wanna go out tonight?"

"Does it look like I wanna go out tonight?"

She looks at me for a minute and shrugs. "Kinda. You had a great time at the club, plus you've been in bed for forty straight hours. Have you even got up to piss?"

"Fucking obviously, Gabby," I sneer, rolling over and huddling into the blankets. "I don't feel good,"

"Alright, fine, Jesus.... Just thought it'd be nice.."

I grimace. I almost felt bad.

Key word: Almost.

I've been pretty irritable for the past two days. Feeling sick, aching, head throbbing, throwing up... Not the sort of things that put me in a good mood.

I just wanted to sleep my life away. It was so beautiful to see nothing but darkness as you rest. I couldn't get enough of it.

"What happened to you?"

"I changed," It left my lips before I could stop it. I don't really know why I said that, but it was true. I had changed so much in the past week that I barely had time to see where I was going. It's like I closed my eyes and woke up as a completely different person.

I don't hear voices, I don't see things. No longer do I have nightmares, or wander to strange parts of the house to talk to people who aren't there. It almost worried me.

Again: Almost.

"Get a shower, babe. We're going out tonight,"

I sigh and rub my itchy eyes. "Gabby,"

"No, seriously. We're gonna get ready, go shopping, and come back to get ready for the night. Ryder's having a house party and everyone's going to be there,"

I frown. "Everyone? So Logan's going to be there?" The creep from the other night when Gabby had me go to the club with her came to mind. He freaked me out.

"Nah, he um.... Well, no one knows where he is exactly,"

I squint at her in confusion. "Huh?"

"Yeah, they think he over-dosed somewhere or something. I don't really know. Get up and get in the shower, damn,"

Rolling my eyes, I tuck out of bed and slump onto the floor. She stares at me with a bored look and I hold my stomach tightly. "I really don't feel good,"
