Lance's POV

Me and Lucy are walking to the nurses office and my thoughts are racing. Why did he hit me? Why did he snap so fast? What's up with him? Anyways I don't like that guy, tho I must say he's kinda cute, but the mullet is ugly.

"that guy is so gonna pay for hurting you baby", Lucy says. What's up with her? I say kind of annoyed :"you do realize we're not a couple, do you?"
"we were just making out tho~"
"you were harassing me! I didn't want to kiss you!"

Lucy turns her head away, but I could see that smile on her face. Lucy is quite a troublesome person, she has found a liking to me and knows I don't have interest in her at all, but she still tries to convince everyone we're in a relationship.

Time skip after the nurses office

We walk out of the nurses office and I see the mullet boy walking to the cafeteria. I start running towards him, while finally getting Lucy off me.
"Hey! What was that all about earlier?! No need to be so aggressive", I say loudly. He looks at me with disinterest and says annoyed :" I don't care, you were blocking my way, go back to your girlfriend, don't you see she's waiting for you?". "She's not my girlfriend! She kissed me without my consent!", I yell. Gosh am I annoyed by Lucy. The guy looks at me a bit confused and his eyebrow raises :"well, it's not my business, but why don't you just leave her? Why do you keep hanging around her?". Now I was mad, I am being so misunderstood, I don't know what to do at this point anymore :"listen, she manipulates people into thinking we're a couple and people try to get us closer, you're the only person who actually knows what she does". "so? I don't care", he says and walks away. I wonder who that guy is, he must be new...

I walk to class and my next class is science. I walk into the classroom and I walk to Hunk and Pidge. "Hey Lance!", Hunk calls happily with a big smile on his face, while Pidge simply waves at me. Pidge then asks after a bit of us chatting :"are you coming to Shiro's place later?". "of course! I'm so excited to see him again! We haven't met in... I think two weeks", I say loudly. I can't wait to meet him again, since he told us he had a surprise for us! Now the teacher walks in and class starts.

Time skip to after school

I'm infront of Shiro's house and I'm so excited! What will the surprise be? Maybe he got a new game or maybe he even got a pet! I can't wait to find out.

I take a deep breath and ring the doorbell. I hear the sound of the doorbell and steps coming into the direction of the door. The door opens and it reveals Shiro's beautiful mother. "Hi Lance", she says politely. I smile and say:"Hi Allura!".

I walk in and see Hunk and Pidge in the living room together with Shiro. Hunk and Pidge look just as excited as me. Shiro then starts talking:" So uhm... The surprise is upstairs, I think you might like him, don't worry I warned him about the guests". Him? What does he mean? Maybe a pet.

We go upstairs to the room that has always been free in Shiro's house and Shiro opens the door. The door reveals a room with a few posters and some stuff and a suitcase with some stuff in it. With a big black bed with red sheets and ... THE GUY FROM BEFORE WAS LAYING ON IT?!. I look confused and angry. "Guys, that's my little brother Keith, you might've seen him today, since it was his first day at your school", Shiro says with a smile on his face. Keith looks a bit... Sad? But Pidge and Hunk immediately walk up to him and want to get to know him, while I'm staying there were I was standing before the door opened. I was in shock, how was shiro smiling while talking about Keith?! Shiro looks a bit concerned at me and says :"Lance is everything alright?". "yes", I say "this asshole punched me in the face today, just because I was infront of his locker". I cross my arms and and look away. Shiro looks at Keith :"Keith...". Shiro didn't even finish the sentence, but for some odd reason Keith looked terrified... I wonder what was up with him.
