Intro

Hey guys! Thank you so much for deciding to check out my story. Now I have to give a disclaimer. This book deals with triggers such as abuse, assault, death, violence, suicide and mental health. If you don't feel comfortable with those topics this book may not be right for you! I want all my readers to feel comfortable so if something comes up that really bothers you please feel absolutely free to drop me a message. It would be really useful if you could comment on what you like or dislike because I want to write the best book I can!

That being said, there will be LGBTQ+ characters as well, introduced slightly later in the story with a non-binary character, a bisexual character, and a lesbian character specifically. If you do not agree with this addition I do not care! If you are abusive or intolerant towards other readers for whatever reason I will report it. Also I do mention periods! I've read a lot of fantasy books and Merlin fanfiction where there is a female protagonist and periods are not mentioned once! Sorry but I want a badass fierce warrior who stalks onto the battle field even though her cramps are killing her to show the men how it's done with no hesitation. 

Now about the story. The first chapter is actually decent, in my opinion. The next few chapters are a work in progress but they are there to set up the basis of the plot and give basic information. I get a lot more comfortable with my story as it progresses so please if you enjoy the first chapter but not the next one because of my crappy dialogue and clunky writing, please do stick around a little for when it gets exciting! I'm just finding my feet when it comes to story-telling, so setting up premises is a little difficult. I promise it will! Alternatively if I've written a bit more by the time you're reading this (right now I only have about 4 chapters up) read the first chapter to get an idea of my kind of writing and style, skim over the next few to get an idea of some of the plot set up for my protagonist, and then you can jump right into the action in later chapters! 

I also want to add that one of the main characters - Kaena - is not caucasian, she is dark skinned. She is from Bernicia, which is a place within Albion mentioned in the original series. Before anyone goes 'but where is she really from' shut up. She's from Bernicia. Her father is from Bernicia. She was born in Bernicia. She names her place of origin as the Kingdom of Bernicia. I myself am white so if anyone reading this story feel that I have not done justice to her in regards to her skin colour in any way PLEASE message me about it. I want to do her justice.
