Thinking of You

We're telling my family today.  My mum and dad are going to be shocked which will be funny. I slide on a dress and  a pair of heels. I loosely curl my hair and light make up.  I watch Steve walk over to me and place his hands on my stomach. He kisses my cheek. "You ready, I got Daisy in a dress and flats. I also did her hair" said Steve. Daisy walks in. "Matching me" I said. "Yeah, thought you'd like it" said Steve. I nod and kiss him. "I love you" I said. "I love you too" said Steve. We have a quick breakfast and then we begin our drive. 

It takes us around an hour to make it there and once we do, we step out. Steve gulps. "What if they hate me?" asked Steve. "They won't" I said. Daisy takes my hand and we go to the door. I knock and mum opens the door. "Agent Evelyn?" said Steve. "Captain Rogers?" said mum. "How do you know each other?" I ask. "I used to know Peggy" said mum. "Wow" I said. 

We go inside and dad walks over. "Agent Nathan?" said Steve. "Steve Rogers!" said dad. "What brings you here?" asked mum. "His my boyfriend. I divorced Josh and I'm pregnant with Steve's baby" I said. "We always hated Josh" said Mum. I laugh and we have lunch. I watch mum and dad talk. "How do you know Steve?" I ask. "We were there when he came out of the ice and woke up" said dad. I nod and look at Steve. "Well, at least you knock each other" I said. Dad chuckles. 

"So, do you love each other?" asked dad. "Yeah, we do" I said. Dad smiles. "Have you told Josh about the pregnancy?" asked mum. "Not yet." I said. "Right, your gonna have too" said dad. "We know. He threatened his going to get full custody" I said. "What?" said mum. "Yeah, that's why I'm scared to tell him." I said. "Makes sense" said mum. I nod and Steve takes my hand.

"We're going to tell him today." I said. Steve agrees. "We will mind Dee" said mum. I nod and we decide to go. We get in the car and drive to my old home. I knock and Josh opens the door. "What?" asked Josh. "I.... you deserve to hear to hear it from me and not the media. I'm pregnant with Steve's baby" I said. "You were cheating on me" said Josh. I gulp and nod. "Daddy?" said a kid. I look at this 5 year old boy. "Noah go back to mommy" said Josh. "Wait a second.... you were cheating on me." I said. "Yeah." said Josh. I roll my eyes and we leave. No point fighting. We go back to my parents and go inside.

"So?" asked dad. "He was cheating on me for longer, he has a 5 year old son" I said. "What" said mum. I nod. "Daisy, we're going home" I said. We get Daisy and go home. Daisy goes to play and we sit at the table. "So, his been cheating on me all this time" I said. "Seems like it" said Steve. 

We order pizza and watch movies till 10. Daisy goes to bed at 8 and we go to bed at 10.

Today was weird and Josh was cheating for 5+ years
