"Ms. Scarlett, we've proved your crimes, and you chose your consequences." Mr. River began.
"I don't care about her. She didn't belong to him." She grumbled.
"Incidentally, the one responsible for finding the drug evidence was Turnbull Scarlett-Lamior, your father!" Mr. River exclaimed.
"What?! He had no right to intervene!" She added in her demonic voice.
"He went to full-lengths to try to get Mia the justice she deserved. He told me he believed in Mia's innocence!" Mr. River added.
...
"I knew once he no longer liked her..." She added.
"It was time for her to move on." She said in a befuddled voice, suddenly becoming deeper, and less amicable.
"You lie!" I blurted out, becoming livid.
"You never loved him! He deserved a better life!" I added feeling that stimulation of confidence once again.
"Oh?!" She answered in a deep, masculine, demonic voice, as she turned around to look at me.
"You won't get away." She added. She had an insane look in her eyes. she looked like she could kill someone, with a death glare. Though her pupils looked smaller when her head was down, and her eyes were up at me, it looked scarier. I can tell her emotions were running out of control. I can tell the plausible livid anger was consuming her because tears couldn't stop falling from her face. She began walking up to me, with her hands creating fists as she lightly chuckled. I instantly felt that fight-or-flight reaction. I knew she was trying to attack me. I couldn't move. I remained in my chair. The bailiff came to restrain her, but Aaliyana began resisting and fought back. But, Aaliyana was strong. She managed to make her way past the first two bailiffs. But, she broke loose, like a wild animal. She was right in front of me, about to swing and punch me in the face. I moved my chair back. Suddenly, we were surrounded by tall, strapped men, with police uniforms that restrained her. One of them suddenly picked up Aaliyana and she was carried over his shoulder.
"Detective Lamior!" I exclaimed.
"That's right, Mia!"
"Thank you!" I managed to say before he took Aaliyana out. She was fighting him like a wild animal wanting to escape. Her true colors have shown. The judge said nothing as they took her out of the room. She kept trying to break free, but the law applied breaks on her freedom by forcefully applying handcuffs. Surprisingly, she's strong. River, Angelina, Kurt, The Judge, the gallery had appalled looks in their eyes. Shocked, concerned expressions with empathetic, and truly sympathetic eyes. Witnessing what children are capable of, witnessing a psychotic criminal, that was in the same room as them, holding her down, like how the detention center applied handcuffs days ago that felt like throbbing on my wrists. They all had the faces my classmates did. But, I look to my left. The lobby door was ajar. There were two empty chairs visible. I had the same feelings when I was taken into custody, and my attention was diverted to those two seats. Those two seats will always remain empty, even if someone sits in them.
She had a beautiful face, a banging body, but the personality of a devil. In this case, there was never just one. Everybody was silenced. I didn't feel like making a peep. It was like they captured the devil, with all our help, together.
"In all my years I've been a judge, I've never seen a child murderer attempt to attack the defendant." The judge commented sympathetically.
"In that case, I'll hand down my verdict to Mia Madden." Announced the judge. Kenji Kurt had a glum, yet angry expression, looking down. He was probably in his feelings, with his mind blank. Angelina and Tirakan had their usual smiles, seeming so confident. I feel the contagious empathy from their smiles because justice was finally served.
