"D, I didn't know you could put it down like that!" Zuri whispered into my ear. "Ask Sariah, that's what happened to her yesterday but with a little more aggression." She just giggled as walked into the living room. We sit down and see Matt had already told them about the whole situation. Everybody's asking questions and we just tell them, "Let us tell our side of the story!" We tell our side of the story as we look down at Matt's hand. He had a cut from where he was punching Kobe in the mouth. "Dude tooth literally cut my shit open. I wanted to show a mf that we don't play bout us at all man. And for him to disrespect you and Carissa like that, I wasn't going for it. I won't in a million years let another mfer disrespect my brother or anybody associated with him you feel me." I dapped bro up after that, almost made me tear up. Lemme chill, but we sit down and just start watching tv when I receive a text from Kobe asking, "I'm sorry bro. I step outside and I FaceTime Carissa. "Hey brother, can you come over to my crib for a minute. I'll send you the location. We need to talk about some things." "Yeah sis, I can. Is it cool if I bring Zuri with too?" "Yeah, I actually wanna meet her. Cha Cha has been saying great things about her!" "Bet, send the location and I'm headed that way!" She sends the location and I go in the house to grab Zuri. Zuri asks, "What's the problem babe? Where we going?" "Carissa's house. She needs to talk to me and her family wants to meet you." "Why does her family want to meet ME out of all people?" "Carissa has been practicing to be a medium since she lost Charisma a few years back so they can connect with each other. Charisma said you were a great girl and that's why Carissa wants to meet you. So she can gather your aura and display good words back to Charisma as she watches over us." "Oh, that was detailed. She told me and -" "Who is the nice, beautiful young lady that you have here with you?" "This is my girlfriend Zuri. We just got together today. She opens up with huge embrace and gives both me and Zuri a hug. "Take a seat on the bed if y'all wouldn't mind. Now what's there to be talked about?" Carissa said. "You know Kobe right?" Zuri said. "Yeah, me and him been talking ever since that first day I met him. He's came over a few times and chilled and we've came closer. We've thought about just starting a relationship and seeing where it goes from there, but I'm feeling bad energy from y'all, so what's the matter?" "I caught Kobe with Sariah at the park hugging up and kissing. Jai out of all people told me. Me and Matt, who was closer with him than I am, was the one who initiated we give him a taste of his own medicine." "Y'all beat him up?" "Yeah Carissa, we had to. It was only right. There's many people out here that won't do this to you. Don't think that there ain't no good men out here for you. You gonna find someone just as strong and willing as you one day. But it sure wasn't Kobe's ass." She jumps from Zuri's arms to lay her head on my chest and says, "Thank you for being here for me through so much. We join in for a lil group hug as we all feel a little bit better after talking everything out. We let our presences be felt and we left. We hopped back in the car and then I randomly had the idea to drive to the chill spot, where everything started for me and Zuri. I open up the door and she gets out the car. "What we doing here?" "I had to bring us back to the place where this all started. Just 4 days ago. Shit with all the shit we've been through in the last 4 days it's felt like months. I'm glad this is the first place where we had our sentimental moment and sought for love. I genuinely knew you would be mine when all of it was going down. I just loved everything about you. I open the door and everyone chilling in the living room besides Zyair. Babe sat down and got comfortable and so did I. I just didn't feel right about Zyair being up there alone so I got up to see what he was doing. I knocked on his door and he opened it up and said, "Wassup, big bro?" "Just came in here to check on you. Seems like you never leave this room. What you up here doing?" "Playing Minecraft. Wanna build a house?" "Sure lil bro." I stayed up there for maybe two hours straight on this Minecraft server with my boy creating houses, fighting creepers and find the Enderman. But it was fun until Zuri walked in with a faint look on her face. She walks in and said, "Go to your house now. Quick!" I run across the road to see them packing my Uncle Josiah into the back of an ambulance and my Aunt Kim crying her eyes out. "What's wrong with Pop?" "I left to go grocery shopping and come home to him laying on the floor convulsing and foaming from the mouth. I don't know what's wrong baby. I just called the ambulance." "It's gone be okay Momma. Unc gone push through! Just stay prayed up! You know he's the strongest person we know!" "I know baby. I'm gonna head to the hospital. Just come when you're ready." I said ok as I kissed her cheek and ran back across the road. You could see me become feasibly dead all inside as I entered the door. I hit the floor with a pale distinction. Everyone runs over to me and starts to yell, "DAVION! DAVION! WAKE UP!" I wake up from my blackout to Zuri staring me into eyes asking, "Babe, what's wrong? Are you okay? Talk to me!" "Unc Siah just had a seizure or something and now he's on the way to the ER. I'm just tired of dealing with all these bad things. The stress is overwhelming." "Wel let's head there babe!!!" We hop into her car and head there as I started to tear up and just bawl out crying. She tells me, "Everything is happening for a reason baby. You're being put in a spot in life where God is looking for you to persevere. So continue to fight for your mom, Unc Josiah, Aunt Kim, your dad and me. We know you can make it through this. You motivate everybody else to make it through while knowing you can't make it through yourself. I respect you for doing that but you gotta treat yourself sometimes."
