       Good shower but what a hell of a day ahead. Sa finna be at my dome along with Jai tryna resolve what he saw at the beginning of the day. I'm in for whatever comes my way. This gash under my eye has started to swell down and close up a little bit so that's good. Let's just pray neither one of them have the urge to open it up. But nonetheless, I'm heading to my closet and see Zuri's clothes were still in there. I shoved them off to the side and put on my red and blue ones, tossed on my Sunny Side Panthers shirt, a pair of stonewashed jeans. Brushed my teeth, put on some deo and headed out the door. Car speakers bumping when I get back in the car and I hear Kiya singing profusely, "Heart been broke so many ti-i-imes don't know what to believe" I just look at her and ask, "You good?" She said, "Yeah mane, Rod Wave just depressing and hell and it make me feel that way. 😭." "If you don't stop that shii" we both just die laughing. Driving to school now and I'm pullin up got the parking lot and I see that black camaro in my parking spot. Just drive back around and just sigh, "Guess I just got bullied out of a parking spot too" we both laughed as I parked my car behind the school. Kiya gets out and says, "Thanks for the ride bro! Call me if you need me!" "Bet sis!" I grab my bag and my id out the trunk and head into the building. Everybody is looking at me and talking and I ask, "What the fuck y'all looking at me for?" I see Sariah walk from around the corner and stop at my locker. I walk up to her. "Hey swee-" She slaps the hell out of me. "So I walk in your room and you sleeping with Zuri? Zuri? You know I hate that bitch." "You coming for me when you do all this shit behind my back and I bet everybody don't know bout that. Why you tryna put me on blast? Matt and Kobe walk up to me and say, "Man, what the hell done got into you? You sleeping with Zuri you snappin out on Sa. You good? Are you a changed man?" Matt and I laughed as Kobe just rambled on. "Nah man. All the tables are turning on me and I'm just trying to go about it as best as I can. I just feel in the middle of the world with no hand to grab. I don't feel like shit will get better. But I'll see y'all after class." Knowing I'm heading to math with Jai and Sa, I just gotta keep my cool. Walk into class and Mrs. Copelin says, "Hey D, all seniors are in the auditorium this block for the speech. Just head there." "Thanks Mrs. Copelin!" I head to the auditorium and guess who I see sitting outside, Zuri. She gives me a hug and says, "Hey chunky monkey. I missed you." I just blushed and said, "I missed you too!" as she pinched my cheeks. Me and her walk into the auditorium and Matt, Kobe, and Zaria come in behind us. Zuri sits on one side of me and Zaria on the other. Zuri laying her head on my shoulder and Zaria whispering in my ear, "So I see there's a little more there than what you told me buddy 🥴" I say, "I'll tell you at practice this shit is wild." She says, "Bet. I need this tea sooner or later!" Jai and Sariah do not attend. Don't know why but okayyy. "Welcome to your senior year here at Sunny Side High. I came here to announce our class representatives for your class. Your class president is Zuri Catchings!" She gets up and waves at the students. "Your class secretary is DAVION LETTERMAN!" I get up in awe as I filled out to be one but I didn't think I would get votes to be one. I get up and wave at the crowd and sit down as Zuri is cheering. "OMG we are gonna be in student council together!" I smile back and say, " I'm so damn excited and just in awe right no-" "Your class treasurer is Sariah McGivingsly!" Me and her face just plummet to the floor as Sariah wasn't there to accept. She still got the spot tho. "You all may head back to class now. The names I stated shall stay after and speak with me." All that walk up is me and Zuri. "Sariah couldn't make it, Davion?" "Im not sure, me and her aren't on the best terms at the moment, Mr. Clyde. Hopefully, we can resolve the issue soon." "Just relay that we have a meeting tomorrow at 3 right after y'all leave school. I know you have to film with Zaria, Davion, so just get here as soon as possible so you can leave to do that!" He said. "Yessir!" We both said in unison as we head out the auditorium. I get a ring from my uncle Josiah and that usually never happens unless something bad is happening. "I just got some bad news. Your father got shot and killed this morning in Chicago. I'm sorry that I hid this from you your whole life son. I just wouldn't think something like this would happen. Sorry baby boy." "It's ok talk to you later Unc." I just hit the bench and lost all control of my mind and started bawling my eyes out. Zuri, Matt, Kobe, and Zaria all run up to me and ask, "What's wrong?" "My dad was shot and killed this morning. Worse thing is that I ain't even know he existed or even cared about me. FUCK!" They all comforted me as JQ walked by with a smirk on his face. I know something and this has gone way too far.
