The sun streaming through the curtains wakes me up and I groan in pain from the forming headache, the room looking much tidier than last night. I rub my temples groaning and Cole turns to me shirtless, I do a double take before looking away.
"Oh you're awake?" he smiles handing me some pills and a glass of water
"Thanks," I mutter "What's the time?"
"12 pm"
"I slept that long," I sigh and Cole chuckles
"Do you wanna check out the city today?" He asks me "We can check out Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, River Thames, Tower Bridge, National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, London Eye, Westminster Abbey," he counts before smiling at me "So what do you think?"
"Uhmm..." I blink "Did you google all that?"
"Some," he admits and I let out a small laugh
"Of course I wanna see London but I don't think we'll be able to see everything,"
"We can try," He shrugs
Since I didn't bring too many casual clothes I have to stick with a button down shirt and a pair of pants.
Cole stares at me his face scrunched up "That is too formal, I think we need to do an emergency clothe shopping," he tells grabbing my hand as we leave the room.
We end up getting a pair of jeans and a cute T-shirt with some sneakers. I put them on and we head straight away to begin our tour taking tourist maps with us.
We climb into the taxi and begin our trip.
Our first stop is Trafalgar Square and let me tell you it is a beautiful place, the London hustle and bustle is clear from here, reminds me a lot of New York Times square.
"Wow," I stare in awe, and Cole grins
"C'mon let's take a picture," He pulls me to one of the fountains passing a sea of people
He pulls out his phone and makes a silly face making me laugh and the camera clicks
"You look cute," he smiles analyzing the picture and I roll my eyes
He stares at me distastefully removing the band I used to hold my hair up
"You look better like this," He smiles holding the bond
Grabbing my hand we head over to the other fountain and I dip my hand in the cold water grinning before splashing it on him and he yelps in surprise.
I head over to the lion statue staring at it before pulling my phone out to take a picture of it for Carlos.
"Carlos," I mutter about to dial Sandra's number
"Davina! C'mon let's take a picture," He waves and a man is standing next to him, I guess he's going to take our picture
Smiling I jog up to him and the other man holds the phone smiling
"We're in London!" Cole yells smiling and I stare at him smiling
"Here you go," the man hands the phone to Cole his cheeks turning pink as he glances at the screen, he puts the phone into his pocket swiftly before speaking up
"Let's go to the Gallery," He points to a tall building and we both head inside after paying some money
'This place is huge!" I say in awe and he chuckles lightly
"Have you been here before," I frown and he nods
We start looking at pictures from famous painters and I'm staring at one of the painting so intently I don't know that Cole is no longer next to me
"That was a nice shot," He replies holding up his phone and he shows me the picture and it's beautiful, me looking at the large painting while he snaps the picture from behind.
"It's pretty," I tell him smiling
"Let's go look," I tell him grabbing his hand, he stares at me dumb founded and I ignore his face trying to enjoy this moment
"Let's take a picture with this painting," I tell him and I give my phone to someone to take us
We back the camera letting the picture capture our backs and the painting
"This painting reminds me of someone," he tells me and I look at him forgetting we are supposed to be taking a picture
The lady hands me back my phone and I look at the pictures, they are really good, the second picture I look at, Cole is staring at me while I'm staring at him both of us backing the camera.
"They're nice," Cole points out and I grin going to look at other pictures learning about the meaning and inspiration behind all of them
"This portrait was a depiction of her life lonely, and shutting everyone out, leading to a life of misery," Cole reads out and he stares at me shifting uncomfortably before I pull his hand heading over to another painting.
"Doesn't he look weird?" Cole questions smirking I let out a loud laugh
"Of course he does, he's almost naked," I laugh
Cole points to something in the picture and I look closely before a hand shoots up to tickle my ear and I turn around startled to see Cole laughing hard.
"You're too scared," he tells me
"Whatever," I roll my eyes amused
"Guess our next stop," His eyes twinkle
"The Palace?" My eyes widen
"Yes," He smiles
"Finally, I'm so excited!" I jump
London is definitely making me feel like my old self and making spontaneous decisions
