Chapter Twenty-Eight

The group stared at the male. He was a demon, much stronger than Enmu. The demon had short pink hair that fluffed out, and pale skin it looked like it was almost white. He was a young, muscular male. His skin was decorated with thick blue lines which resembles the criminal tattoos. Three blue lines on each side of his face curved through each eye from below his ears. A thick blue line ran from his forehead and stopped at the center of his nose. Two more lines ran through his neck. Three others branching off the lower one to his torso. The center line ran directly down to his chest. To halfway down his stomach. The other two branched off to the sides on each side of his chest join the two other lines. The same three lines repeating around his waist.
On his arms there were lines running down the front of his shoulders that ran into two more lines that wrapped around his biceps before continuing to run down to his wrists. At the base of each finger was colored blue. His toes also matched the appearance with his fingers. He had golden yellow eyes that read Upper Moon Three around the eyes was blue that covered his sclera. It almost looked like cracked glass. He had pink eyelashes to match his hair.
He wore a purple-pink haori that was cut off at the waist, exposing his chest that was decorated with a square pattern on the back. He sported a pair of baggy white pants that he rolled below his knee. A blue rope tied around his waist like a belt. A chain or large pearls around his ankles. The male walked around barefoot.

The tall male stared at the males, completely ignoring the girl and the two demons behind him. At a swift pace the Upper Moon lunged at the males. Dust flew into the air after he left the spot. Mono cover the two demons as rocks flew back into their faces. The Upper Moon went to attack Tanjiro, but Rengoku beat him to it.

'Breath of Flames, Second Style: Ascending Blazing Sky!'

Rengoku swiped his sword in an upward motion. And sliced the Demon's arm down the middle. The demon jumped backwards, away from the boys. The demon's arm healed within seconds. He licked the blood that was from his wound. "Nice blade." He said.

"I cannot understand why you are targeting a wounded person." Rengoku said. The demon stared at the male. "I just wanted him out of the way." The demon said. "You and I have something to talk about? It's our first time meeting, but I already hate you." Rengoku said to the pink haired demon. This Upper Moon hated weaklings. Rengoku wanted to protect the weak.

"Well then, I have a wounderful proposal. How about you become a demon too?" The demon asked Rengoku. "No chance." Rengoku said to the demon. "I know your strength just by looking at you. You're a Hashira, right? Your battle spirit is quite polished. You're getting close to supreme territory." The demon said. "I am the Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro." Rengoku said, giving the demon his name. "I'm Akaza." The Upper Moon said. Akaza keep push Rengoku into becoming a demon but the flame haired male refused. Akaza grew annoyed with the Hashira. "If you won't become a demon. Then I'll just kill you instead!" Akaza said, using his Blood Demon Art

Mono looked down at Rui. "Rui-san." The girl said. Rui looked up at the girl. "Grab my bag. I want you to help out Inosuke-san and Zenitsu-san with the people. You remember what I taught you, right?" Mono asked the young demon. "Yes, Ane." Rui said. "All my medical supplies should be in my bag. Go treat their wounds, alright? Quickly! Go now! Don't let Akaza see you." Asui whispered to the young male. Rui took Mono's bag once the white haired girl took out Five, Eight, and eleven.

"Is there anything I can do to help, Mono-sama?" Mono turned to Enmu. "There is a village not to far from here. You need to cut through the forest in order to get there. You follow Five, Eight and Eleven. They'll lead you there. Once Rui-san is finished helping them, your first task, is to take them to the village and to get there wounds properly treated." Mono said. "Can I trust you with this task?" Mono questioned. "Yes, Mono-sama." Enmu said. Before the male could do anything, he turned to the teen. "What will you be doing Mono-sama?" Enmu asked. "I'll stay here and get the boys as far away from the fight. They're injured enough, they don't need to injure themselves any further." Mono said. Enmu left the girl and went over to Rui.
Mono ran passed Rengoku and Akaza watching the two fight. She quickly made her way to the injured male. "Tanjiro-san, can you stand?" Mono asked. Tanjiro tried moving but Mono stopped him. "If you can't move then don't force yourself to. The injuries will get worse." Mono picked the male up and swiftly ran over to some trees. She set the male down by a tree. "Don't move. I'm gonna go grab everyone else and bring them over here." Mono said, placing a vile down. The vile glowed a dark blue color. "Drink this, it should help your wound."  Inosuke ran over to Tanjiro once Mono left. She ran over to Zenitsu and Nezuko. She placed a blue vile next to them as well. She gave  the two the drink. Mono watched Akaza and Rengoku. Rengoku was injured half of his face eas cober in blood, the two continued to fight. Akaza grew excited when Rengoku wouldn't back down. He really was strong. Dust covered the two males, making it difficult to see. Rengoku raised his sword and Akaza brought his arm back, ready to land a hard punch.

Mono: "Time for a Taisho Secret. When it comes to injuries and such, I'm much better at treating wounds than Kocho-san. More so becuase I've experienced more pain myself, and faced far worse injuries. With the right herbs your wounds are as good as gone."
