Chapter Twenty-Seven

The white haired girl's dark pink eyes shot open. Red sclera and pale blue eyes stared into her pink one's his eyes filled with worry. Tears streamed down the side of her face. Within the time that Rui has spent with the white haired girl, he's never once seen her cry. Not even wince from pain when she cut her arms for his needs. Rengoku turned his head towards the two. His yellow to red eyes stared at her dark pink ones. He noticed her tear stained cheeks. She was crying in her sleep.
The train was covered in flesh, trapping the people. Mono wipped her eyes and turned to Rengoku. "Rengoku-san, where's Tanjiro-san?" Mono asked. "Kamado and Googly Eyes went up to the front of the train to take care of the demon!" Mono nodded. "I'm gonna go help them! Do you think you can handle everything back here?" Mono asked.

"Of course!" Rengoku said.

"Once I find the boys, I'll send them right back to you." Mono said. "Why?" Rengoku asked. "I'm gonna try to get this demon on our side. I don't know what'll happen if they're there." Rengoku looked at the girl. Before he could ask the girl anymore questions. The girl yelled at her demon companion.

"Come on Rui-san!" Mono said, letting the small male on her back. Mono took her blade and made a large hole on the roof. Mono looked at the male. "Be safe, Rengoku-san." Mono left the Hashira on his how. Mono ran down the roof top. The top piece of the train was covered in flesh. Mono dropped down spotting the two males. The two had been slicing hands that would come at them.

Mono had grabbed the two males and stopped them from what they were doing. Tanjiro looked up at the girl. "Mono-san?" Mono pushed the two towards. She grabbed the man and pushed him to the door. "Get out of here you two, and take the man with you! Get him somewhere safe! I'll take care of the demon!" Mono yelled at the two. "But what about you?" Tanjiro yelled. "Don't worry about me! Worry about that man, get him to safety and go back to Rengoku-san!" The two males reluctantly left with the man. He kept yelling at the slayers for messing with his dreams.

"Rui-san, try to get the demon out of there, I'll do my best to fend off the demon." Mono said to the white haired male. "Yes, Ane." Rui said. Webs shot out from his finger tips, and dug into the hole. The webs wrapped around the spine. The fleshy hands came towards the two, but Mono would swiftly slice the hands.

"How you holding up, Rui-san?" Mono asked.

"Almost there, Ane." Rui said. The boy continued to grab Enmu. Mono protected the young demon boy from the hands. Rui had pulled on the Lower Moon. The Lower Moon on was now free. "I got him, Ane!" Rui said. The train buckled and jumped the tracks. Mono grabbed the two demons and jumped off the train. Their bodies slid across the cold, hard ground. The train was tipped over. Tanjiro lied on the ground farther away from the three. Inosuke ran for the boy.
The demon was lost in thought. He didn't notice the footsteps coming closer. The white haired girl walked closer to the demon that lied on the floor. Rui followed his older sister figure and held on ti her hand as the two walked closer. Mono and Rui stared into his pale blue eyes. Enmu's eyes stared into Rui's. 'Rui?' "Shhh." Mono said placing a finger over her mouth. The male stared into her eyes.

"I know what you're thinking. But you should push your thoughts aside for now." Mono said.

Rengoku looked down at an injured Tanjiro. "So you can use your Full Focus Breaths all the time now! Impressive, impressive!" Rengoku continued to talk to the male. He even helped Tanjiro stop his bleeding injury. "Kamado, where's you friend!" Rengoku asked. "Mono-san?" "Yeah, her!" "I don't know. I haven't seen her since she..."

"There's Big Boobs!" Inosuke yelled out. 'Big Boobs?' Rengoku thought, trying to process what the pig mask boy said. Rengoku and Tanjiro noticed the white haired girl along with her demon companion standing over the Lower Moon. 'She wasn't kidding.' Rengoku thought.

"Tell me, did Kibutsuji send you?" Monk asked. Rui tugged on her tattered uniform. The white haired girl faced the young male. "I remember Muzan-sama wanting to kill Tanjiro-san and his sister. He wanted you alive though. It could be why he's here." Rui said. "Is that true?" Enmu stared into her eyes. He couldn't help but trust her. He nodded his head. "I'm not sure why, he just said to kill the Demon Slayers and to bring you back." The male said.

"What's your name?" Mono asked, in her usual gentle tone. "Enmu." The demon replied. "Enmu-san, do you plan on going back to Kibutsuji?" He'd have to wouldn't he? Muzan would hunt him down and kill him. "Cause if you do, you'll end up returning empty handed. Then Kibutsuji would end up killing you, for disappointing him. I don't know how demons could ever admire such a man. Manipulating lost souls in such a way. It's cruel."

The two males stared at the girl. She was speaking to them as if she knew their pain. "It hurts putting a lot of trust in someone, only to be betrayed. It's ususlly someone close to you who does." Mono said. Rui looked at Enmu. "You should come with us." Rui spoke. "Ane isn't like Muzan-sama at all. She'd never hurt us. She'd risk her life for us instead of putting us in danger." Rui explained. "Something that Muzan-sama would never do for us."

Mono stuck her hand out for the male. The boys watched the girl from afar, noticing their interaction. Enmu placed his hand in the girl's hand. 'So warm.' The male thought. Mono helped Enmu up off the ground. 'Just like in my vision.' Enmu blushed "I... I trust you, Mono-sama." The girl hugged the male. Mono took out the pink paint and put a mark, similar to Rui's in his shoulder blade. "Welcome to the family, Enmu-san." Mono said. Enmu stared at the girl, his eyes lit up. Enmu didn't need to be afraid anymore. Mono would be there, every step of the way. If Rui trusted her, the so could he. He felt safe already.

Makero watched the two demons and the girl from afar. She took off and flew towards the Demon Slayer Headquarters.

A loud thud had grabbed the groups attention. Dust had flown everywhere, covering the area completely.

Mono: "Time for a Taisho Secret. Both Rui-san and Enmu-san had butterflies in their stomachs once they held my hand. Rui still gets butterflies in his stomach. Enmu also refers to me as Sama because he respects me. But he really doesn't need to.
