Chapter Fifty-Two

(This is just gonna be an introduction chapter for the Upper Moons.)

Akaza was the first to arrive at the fortress. Or so he thought. The male looked around. They don't get meetings like this. This must have been because of Gyuutaro and Daki's disappearance.

"Hyo!" A voice echoed from onside a decorated pot. "Well, well. Akaza-sama! Dear me you seem to be looking well. How've you been after ninty years." A ghostly demon came from the pot. An arm draped over the Upper Moon Three's shoulder.

Upper Moon Five, Gyokko

Gyokko takes the form of a pale white, abstracted, grotesque humanoid figure with an upper torso that has no arms and resembles that of an armless statue growing from a porcelain pot; similarly to a djinn.

He has multiple infant-like hands that line his back. Gyokko's face is somewhat even more distorted. Large green mouths displace the position of where one would expect eyes, and his actual eyes are located vertically from one another on his face; one eye appearing in the constantly open bottom mouth and the other is seated at the center of his forehead. As Upper Rank 5, the Kanji for Upper Moon is engraved on his forehead eye and the kanji for five is engraved on his mouth eye.

"The mere possibility of you dying made my heart leap with- made my heart cringe with pain." The Upper Moon Five said.

"This is rather terrifying. Gyokko has forgotten to count during our absence. We haven't been called here in a hundred and thirteen years." Upper Moon Four said peaking behind the railing.

Upper Moon Four, Hantengu

Hantengu takes on the appearance of a short frail man with a very thin and skeletal body, covered with veins and wrinkles and is usually seen crouching. His most noticeable feature is a large bump on the top of his head, accompanied by two curved horns.

His face is thin with a sharp chin and constantly wears an expression of terror and fear, with a prominent brow ridge that lacks eyebrows. His eyes are narrow and often appear to be squinting, lacking any visible pupils.

He has dark shoulder length wavy hair with a low hairline, only growing out from the back of his head and ears, who themselves are sharper and longer then a normal humans.

His nails are long but not sharp like most other demons and retain their natural square form.

Clothing wise he wears a dark kimono that is split in the middle, the right half being covered in a pattern of flowers and lines with the left half being dark and lacking any detailed features. He also wears dark pants and zori.

"Hold on a minute, Akaza-dono! I was super worried about you guys!" Upper Moon Two gave off a fake smile as he wrapped an arm around Akaza's shoulder. "You're my precious buddies. I don't want anyone here to wane out." The Upper Moon. Greeted the others keeping his fake smile.

Upper Moon Two, Douma

Douma wore a blood-red turtleneck of a design that made it appear that the section between his neck and upper chest is covered by a black substance that looks like it's dripping slightly down his body, this same design repeated at his wrists and down his hands, as well as on the small, circular "blood stain" he adorned on his head. Below this, he wore a pair of straight, tan-colored hakama pants of a pinstriped design, their cuffs visibly loose, which he secured with a pale green-tinged golden belt, its buckle a bright silver. On occasion, Douma may also have be seen sporting a black cloak, which he drapes around his shoulders, two lengths of purple and black cloth with a rectangular pattern also hanging from it around his neck, as well as a black, crown-like hat which is lined with gold around its frontal plates and has flowing black ribbons dangling from each of its sides. He is also usually seen holding a pair of sharp fans that were made entirely out of shining gold, a lotus design engraved across them and a hoop of jade-colored strings hanging from their bases, which acted as his primary weapons.

"Get you're arm off of me." Akaza said in a low tone. Before Douma could think Akaza had punched the Upper Moon in the jaw, destroying the bone to pieces. The jaw was back in a matter of seconds.

"Oh my! What a strong punch, Akaza-dono." Akaza glared at the male. Veins popped the pink haired males forehead.

"What is this, some kinda fuck fest?" A woman laughed obnoxiously.

Upper Moon Zero, Setsuna Tsugomi.

Upper Moon Zero's most common variation leaves her limbs, left eye, and mouthparts exposed, but she can dona "full-body" casing that makes her physically identical to Mono. In these instances, Tsugomi can be distinguished from Mono by a red iris in her left eye and the isopod on the left side of her head, her hair is also different from Mono's as well.

The Upper Moon's stared up at the newly announced demon. Upper Moon Zero. "Oh my, she's got quite the mouth on her." Douma said with a fake smile.

"Who are you limp dicks?" The girl said.

"Upper Moon One was the first to arrive." A long black haired woman said strumming her biwa.

"I... am here... Muzan-sama... has arrived."
