Mono hid behind a corner in an ally. She had finally lost Cana. Mono panted no one had known she was there. She had no idea where she was. Mono wandered around town, ignoring glaces from the men watching her. Mono looked at her surroundings. She remembered her hometown. The Red Light District was so similar to it. All the different smiles, the beautiful colors and the nice kimonos people wore. It was like she was home again. A place she hopes to never go back to again.

Mono turned around and found a rather short man sniffing her hair. He had messy red hair and an odd looking face. "You smell lovely." He said. The male looked kind of weird to the white haired girl. Mono let out a shriek and kickied the short, older male.

The white haired teen shivered from the encounter she had with him. The girl quickly walked away from the area. She climbed to the rooftops, hoping to stay out of trouble. But what she didn't expect to see was a figure hunched over, looking down at the crowd below. This was a demon, a much stronger demon. Not as strong as Akaza but stronger than Enmu. It looks like Mono will have to play pretend.

"It's not safe up here, you know?" Mono spoke up. The demon jolted, his head turned around and faced the girl. He was a tall young male with a black-dotted, pale grayish complexion. His anatomy was somewhat strange in that his upper torso, arms and legs were all extremely muscular where his waist was incredibly skinny, his pelvis jutting out at an unnatural angle. He possessed thin, green and red eyes, their sclera bright orange, that were slanted drastically downwards at the sides, the kanji for "Upper" and "Six" carved across them. He had unruly black hair that cut sharply off to a brighter green around the crown of his head, worn messily styled with uneven bangs and several ahoges. He didn't wear a shirt, only sporting a pair of baggy blue pants and seven pieces of pattern red cloth to decorate his body, one large one around his neck and three smaller ones around each arm.

(I don't know why but i feel like he would be chill but awkward as hell ya'know?)

The male pulled out two sickles and pointed them at the white haired girl. "Mind if I sit with you?" Mono asked. The male stared at the white haired girl, unsure of what to do. He wanted to kill her off, but something was stopping him from doing so. "Are you okay?" Mono asked. The male stayed quiet, deep in thought. She placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Are you okay?" Mono asked again. The male nodded his head. Mono sat down next to him. "So, what are you doing up here? It's kind of dangerous sitting on the roof." Mono said. "You're one to talk. What are you doing up here?" The male asked. "It's a bit of a story, but long story short, my sister chased me." The male stared at her. "I'm hiding at the moment." Mono added.

"Why?" The male asked looking at the girl.

"She tried putting more make-up on me. I'm more of an all natural kind of person." Mono said rather bluntly. The male had a small smile on his face. She was beautiful, and her relaxed state seemed to calm the male next to her down. The two sat on the edge of the roof staring out at the city.

"I know you're an Upper Moon." Mono said. Her spinel pink orbs stared into his green and red eyes. The male's eyes widen at what the girl said. 'She knew this whole time.'

"I don't plan on killing you. I actually want to help demons." Mono stated. 'Help?' The male assumes 'help' would be to kill him and his sister. He won't let that happen. The male was about to strike a sickle down onto Mono's head. The girl held her arm up and over her head. A crystal shield had formed around her arm, blocking the attack.

"I mean it. I really don't want to hurt you." Mono said. The demon stared at the girl's arm. That wasn't normal for a human.

"What the hell are you?" The male demand for the teen to answer.

"In a way, I'm kind of like you. Manipulated and forced into this situation. I'd like to be human again, you know? I don't plan on sharing my life story with you. But I'd like to help you become a human again." Mono said to the male.

"What makes you think that I'd want to become human again?" The demon asked the girl.

"Don't you miss the warmth of the sun? The taste of food? Not being looked at as some kind of monster?"

"I don't care about that." The male said cutting the girl off from speaking.

"I see. Even though you don't care about being human, I won't stop trying to help you. I wish I had to show you that I'm telling the truth. All I can really give you are their names. But I don't exactlly trust you yet. For all I know is that you could give Muzan their names, and I don't want that. They're like family to me, you know?" Mono said.

'Family.' The word hit home for the demon. No. He couldn't think about that now. He wasn't going to listen to her. He need to kill her, after all she is a Demon Slayer.

"My name's Mono." The white haired girl said.

The demon paused for a moment. "Gyuutaro." He can't kill her, but he could still hurt her. Muzan needed this girl.

Gyuutaro will make sure that happens.
