"Look, Dream. It's not you," Not that excuse again. It's the oldest shit in the breakup excuse book. If this was where his relationship ended, he really didn't want these to be the last words she ever spoke to him, "It's Sapnap."

It's who?

It's not you, "It's Sapnap?"

Dream looked at his girlfriend - ex girlfriend - in disbelief, shock causing his eyes to blow wide and mouth to gape open.

His mother had always warned him about leaving his mouth open, and how a fly would land on his tongue, and slowly navigate its way down his throat and through his organs- Dream had once been addicted to trying to catch and eat bubbles when he was younger. That's how his mother had gotten him to stop.

"And, well, I guess it's you too," She looked up at him, embarrassment that she actually had to have this discussion taking over as her face flushed a deep pink tone, "You just spend so much time with him, and the flirty jokes seem so real. I'm not normally a jealous person, but lord almighty, I can only listen to you guys go on about sucking each other's dicks so many times."

Dream spoke, not even sure what to say in this incredibly awkward situation, "Oh," He managed to squeak out, his voice cracking. Nice one, Dream.

"Yeah," She shook her head in her hands, laughing to herself. It looked as if she had gone crazy, and if Dream had actually managed to cause someone to lose their mind, he wasn't sure what he'd do with himself, "I'm gonna go."

"Oh," Dream said again, the word becoming far too instinctual, "I'll see you around?"

"See you."

And then she was gone, walking off to visit with her friends before the buses took them all home.

"Fuck," Dream murmured to himself, slapping his head to his forehead, "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck."

Students started to filter out of the school behind him, pushing and shoving their way onto the buses. It was a Friday afternoon and absolutely no one was bothering to be polite. It wasn't worth it. The people they ran into had all weekend to forget about it.

"Woah there," Sapnap's loud voice came from behind Dream, pulling him out of his self-deprecating trance, "Everything good? You don't look the best."

"Thanks, Sapnap," Dream stepped out of the way of a seemingly furious teacher, who was waving his walkie talkie in the air, calling for a student, who clearly wasn't interested in speaking with him, "My girlfriend just broke up with me, if you must know."

Sapnap rolled his eyes, already making his way towards their bus. It was just another Dream breakup, something he was forced to deal with far more often than he'd like to admit. He'd just spend the whole weekend pampering Dream with ice cream and teen rom coms on Netflix, and eventually Dream would get over himself and find some new girl to pester. Sapnap already had a list of things to do for Dream's next breakup, and he was ready to pull it out at any moment.

"Good," Sapnap sighed, almost laughing at his own thought process, "Jess always smelled bad, anyway."

Despite the comment having been made to make Dream laugh and not feel as bad about himself, Sapnap still found that his statement was incredibly true.

"Jess never smelled bad," Dream decidedly argued his point, but whether he actually agreed with his statement or not was still up for debate. Jess had always had that undetermined odor about her, and Dream was yet to decide whether or not it was actually off putting.

"She always smelled bad," Sapnap shoved his way through a group of guys, being one of the people to not apologize for being rude, "It was like somebody pissed in a bag of corn chips and made her put it in her clothing drawer."
