It Was Only Just a Dream

"How was your dream?," Lou's voice echoed against my eardrums. I shrugged, "It was good, but I wish it was real..." "Tell me about it," he said, making me quiver. I shook my head, "It's private." And with that, I stood up and walked into my room, examining my reflection in the mirror.

I groaned and put my knotted hair into a messy bun, wiping off any makeup that was left on my face. "You look beautiful," Louis spoke from the doorway. I jumped a bit, turning around and looking into those eyes. Those eyes that made my heart melt on a daily basis.

"Yeah right," I scoffed, turning back to the mirror. "You do," he whispered, coming close behind me. I smiled and turned around, "If you think that this is beautiful, you should see when I actually try." He rolled his eyes and smiled, "Come with me." I smiled and followed him outside, into the breezy December air.

I shivered, I was still wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Lou held me close and walked me into a small coffee shop, showing me around. "My parents used to take my sisters and I here whenever we traveled," he spoke. I smiled, "It's such a lovely coffee shop."

"Would you like a cup of coffee?," he asked, making a cup of coffee behind the counter. "Lou! Are you supposed to be doing that?," I asked, watching him fool around with the machinery. He shrugged, "It doesn't matter, they know who I am here."

I smiled, "Then yes, I'll have a cup." He smiled and handed me a mug full of hazelnut coffee, sitting on the couch. I plopped down gently next to him, sipping the sizzling coffee. "You are so beautiful," he spoke, brushing a few strands of hair out of my face.

I blushed a bit and avoided eye contact with him. I knew that if I looked into his eyes, I would kiss him right away. He always made me happy, but today he gave me some extra special butterflies in my stomach.

"Would you like to go on a date tonight?," he asked, making me look directly into his eyes. I nodded, not knowing how to take the situation. It was just like my dream last night. He smiled and kissed my cheek, pulling me into a hug.

I buried my face in his shoulder and breathed in his scent. He smelled like Vanilla, which is one of the most attractive things that I've ever experienced. "How about tonight? About half 7?," he asked, pulling away from the hug.

I nodded, "Sounds great." It was only half 3, so I had time to call Danielle to help me get ready. Danielle was Liam's girlfriend of about a year and we've grown closer through the years. Danielle also lived in London, near Liam and I, but she traveled to the city while the lads and I are here.

"Hi Danielle!," I screeched, running back into the flat and hugging her tight. She giggled and hugged me back, greeting me. I smiled, "Oh my gosh, you have to come with me!" I pulled her into my room, shutting the door behind us.

~Louis's POV~

I knew exactly what I was going to do tonight. I was going to take the most amazing girl in the world out on a date and hope that she likes me as much as I like her. "Lads, I have some news," I spoke as Jess and Danielle ran into Jess's room.

"What's the news?," Zayn asked, sitting down on the couch. I smiled giddily and waited for Harry, Niall and Liam to sit down as well. "What's the news!?," Harry asked, sounding very impatient.

I smiled, "I asked Jess out." "Finally," Liam muttered, smiling at me. I smiled back at him, "We're going out tonight at half 7." "Do you know where you're going?," Niall asked, looking at me closely. I nodded, "I'm going to take her to an Italian restaurant Downtown."

The lads smiled at me and asked if I had a suit ready. "I'm wearing my blue trousers with Harry's red blazer," I spoke, receiving a death glare from Harry.
