Chapter 11

Violetta's POV
I stood there, frozen at the door, silent tears pouring down my face. They stopped kissing and turned around. Diego eyes were wide open and Ludmilla had an evil smirk on her face.
L: Oh Vilu, great news! We got back together!
I looked at Diego with a sad expression on my face while he looked at the floor. Unable, to hide my feelings, I ran out of the room. I headed towards the dance room for some privacy. As i approached the door, I bumped into someone. Looking up I saw Leon.
L: Hey Vilu...why are you crying.
I explained the whole story, stifling out a few sobs in between lines.
As I cried, Leon hugged me and comforted me.
L: Vilu, he's not worth your tears, he's a jerk anyway.
V: I know, I guess we aren't even dating but it hurts. I thought he liked me, he acted like he did but then cheated on me. Do u have any idea how much it hurts when u see the person you like with someone else?

Leon's POV
V: Do u have any idea how much it hurts when u see the person you like with someone else?

I laughed in my head. She has no idea!
L: Hmm
V: Anyway, thanks Leon for comforting me

She gave me a kiss on the cheek and was about to walk away when I pulled her back down.
V: What's the matter

I took a deep breath, here goes nothing...

L : WellwhenyouaskedthatIthoughtaboutthefactthatitishappeningtomeandthatIreallylikeyou,althoughiknewthatalreadyofcourseandidontwanttoruinourfriendshipbutijusthadtotellyouthis,Iloveyou

I stopped, out of breath. Vilu looked at me confused.
V: Could you say that a bit slower, I didn't get that.
L: I said:
Well, when you asked that I thought about the fact that it is happening to me and that I really like you, although I knew that already of course, and I didn't want to ruin our friendship but I just had to tell you this , I love you

Violetta'a POV
I stood there shocked at what Leon had just told me. He noticed my expression.
L: Oh, I'm sorry if that was awkward. You know what, I'm gonna go.

V: No, stay!
He looked at me for few seconds and didn't move
V: I feel the same
He looked shocked yet happy
L: You do?
V: Yeah, when we first met, I had a huge crush on you, but, like you said, I didn't want to ruin our friendship. Then when Diego came, I guess my made myself like him so I would forget about the crush I had on you. That worked for some time but I guess my feelings for you came back today.
He was now beaming!
L: Oh, well how about we give it a try and promise ourselves, whatever happens, we will always be friends. So, what do you think, will you be my girlfriend?
V: I'd love to!
We stared at eachother for what seemed like forever. We broke our gaze when Fran came into the room.
F: Oh, was I interrupting anything?
V+L: Umm, no
F: ...OK...Vilu,it's our turn to perform.
She left.
Grabbing Leon's hand, I led him back to the party hall.
