My legs wouldn't move as I was paralyzed looking at the blood in front of me. Kun was looking at me but I didn't dare look at him.
Kun kneels down in front of me cupping my face. "Honey? Come let's go home" I slap his hand away. "Home? What is this how could go do this?" I say with my eyes burning with tears. He stays silent trying to come up with something to tell me. I hold Areum tighter afraid of him taking her from me. I walk toward the door only for Kun to step in front of me holding my wrist.
"Let go I" he shakes his head. "We need to talk," he says looking into my eyes searching for a response. "Haechan finish up" he says as he picks me up bridal style leading me out to the parking lot. My heart was beating fast, was I afraid of him? Or was I just upset that he kept this from me? He sits me in the car, puts Areum in her seat and drives off towards the house.
Our ride was silent, in the driveway I was about to open the door when he locked it. "Babe come on hear me out" he says. I finally look at him, "fine tell me what that was then," I harshly say. "I'll be honest yes we do that type of work, but I'm not the one who kills," he says. He doesn't kill but he does clean up the evidence.
"That man he tried to kill us so Haechan didn't hesitate," he says feeling sorry. "You mean you are mafia?" he shakes his head. "Sort of but we kill those bad guys," he tries to explain to me to get me to understand. "That man you saw took money from orphanages," he says. On the news some orphanages had to close down due to not having any funding.
I didn't know what to say, over the 5 years of knowing him how could I be so oblivious to this. "I promise you since we got married I stopped I only do paperwork for the actual company," he says pleading with me to understand him. "Did the car breakdown?" I ask him wanting to know the truth.
He stops, "no but that guy broke the windows and ruined it. I didn't want you to worry," he says giving me the half truth. "Kun I need some time, I love you too much," I tell him leaving him alone in the living room while he fed Areum.

I lay down in bed facing away from him closing my eyes, but the scene kept replaying in my head. As I closed my eyes again Kun's arms wrapped around my waist, "I know you said you need time, but let me take away that bad memory," he says pulling me closer to him so I could hear his heartbeat.
And just like that I managed to easily fall asleep safe in his arms. Despite finding out the truth, my love for him didn't change but did he really feel the same way.
The next morning he had already gone to work or so I thought when I came downstairs he was in his office typing things down. He looked handsome with his messy hair and glasses. I didn't realize I had been staring at him for a while. "Babe don't stare too long you'll drool," he chuckles getting up from his desk.
It was more upsetting that he was acting like nothing ever happened but I knew it was bothering him. "Are you sure office work is all you do?" I ask him walking further into his office. "Yes I asked them to. We have two different companies. The one everyone sees and that one that you saw yesterday." He says with the last few words trailing off. "I was getting ready to leave when I saw the car" he says.
He seemed like he was telling the truth, I sat in his lap and cupped his face. "I know I shouldn't let this slide but I love you too much," I say pulling him in for a kiss. His lips respond immediately as we move our lips in sync. His hand trailed into my shirt when we heard light cries. I pulled away from him getting up from him and make my way to Areum who wanted to get out of the crib to crawl.
"My baby was bored!" I coo to her as she zooms out of the room. She stops at the stairs and sits down on her tush and bounces down. She heads immediately to the office to see her dad. "Dada!" She happily exclaims as Kun picks her up. "Honey I don't want her growing up knowing what you do," I say. He's kept this secret for so long so he should do his best.
No ones POV
Kun had stayed home to make sure his wife was okay with the news from yesterday. But it seemed like she came to term with it as long as he didn't kill people. It was the truth he stopped doing all this, sometimes Taeyong will ask him to help the boys clean up but other than that he stopped.
He quietly got changed to go to work while y/n prepared his lunch and fed Areum. "Honey your lunch is ready!" She calls from the kitchen with her full attention on her daughter. He walked into the kitchen and kissed her forehead and then kissed his daughter as well. "Be back soon queen and princess," he says taking her car to work. "Babe make sure you fix the other car," she calls out to him from the window.
When he got to work something was wrong as Doyoung had told him Taeyong requested an emergency meeting.
"That company we are up against is making their move," he says showing a picture of the next target they needed to protect. There were some things he failed to mention but he didn't want to shake her world more than he already did.
"They are targeting the Na groups eldest daughter," he announces showing a picture of his beloved wife.
