You Don't Understand Pt. 1

Calum's POV

I woke up the next morning feeling a little sore but happy as ever.

I'm in bed with someone who I love so much and wouldn't change anything.

I looked down at Luke snoring quietly as he snuggled up to me. I smiled softly and brushed the hair out of his face.

I got out of his grip and put some clothes on. I decided I'd go downstairs and make some food for us for when he wakes up.

I quietly opened and closed the door and walked down the stairs to thw kitchen. I looked through the fridge and started to take out what I needed when the front door opened. I looked and saw that it was my mom.

'Hey mom.' I said walking towards her.

'We need to talk.' She said as soon as she hung up her coat.

'Okay.' I said confused at her current mood change. I sat down on the couch. 'So what's up?' I asked.

'What's going on between you and Luke?' She asked taking a seat.

To say I was taken aback is an understatement, I don't know where this question cane from.

'Well, um I mean we're stepbrothers but um we're kind of dating.' I said quietly.

'That's what I thought.' She said with a disgusted face. 'Okay so I don't know what this homosexual thing is but it needs to stop, now. Not to mention with you stepbrother, absolutely not.' She said sternly.

'But mom, we love eachother there's nothing wrong it's not like we're blood related.' I pleaded.

'I don't care! I will not have a gay son!' She screamed.

'What is so wrong about that? If it didn't go away from a few years ago then what makes you think it will now?' I asked standing up.

'Because you were dating Taylor! All you needed was a good strong woman to break you out of that but you ruined that with that disgrace of a person Luke.' She screamed.

'How dare you say that?! You don't even know him, you would if you didn't work all the fucking time. I love him and he loves me and if you can't deal with that then so be it.' I said crossing ny arms.

'What's going on?' Luke said coming downstairs.

'Great it's a fag fest.' My so called mom said.

'What?' Luke asked confused.

'I don't understand what your problem is?' I said.

'You! You know why your dad left? Because he didn't want to have a disgrace for a son.' She yelled.

'That's not true.' I said tears pouring out my eyes.

'Yes it is.' She said.

I couldn't take this anymore, the tears were uncontrollable as they poured out of my eyes. I held onto Luke for support.

'I don't know what kind of a mother you are but you're the disgrace and a ragging bitch and I suggest that you leave us alone or figure your shit out.' Luke spat at her causing her gasp in shock.

'How dare you talk to me like that?' She said as she put her hand on her heart.

'You might not understand our relationship but no one's asking you to.' Luke said defiantly.

'What's going on?.' Adam said coming through the door.

'Well evidently your son is gay and is dating my son, his stepbrother.' She said with so much distaste.

'Well I know my son is gay but dating his stepbrother, that's not going to work.' Adam said.

'But dad we're in love.' Luke pleaded.

'No you're not, you're too young to know what love is.' Adam said as if it was so obvious.

'That's not true.' I said finally after I cried myself out.

'Knock knock I'm home.' Someone said coming through the door.

'Ahh Taylor nice to see you.' My mom said.

'Nice to see you too Ms. Hood.' Taylor said.

This crazy bitch seriously doesn't know when to quit.

'Calum babe I've missed you so much, why don't you come back to me and I'll forget this whole thing happened. She said as she opened her arms for me.

'You're a crazy bitch and I am gay, and I am in love with Luke and all of you need to realize that.' I demanded.

'Wrong answer. I have a little surprise for Luke here.' She said with that psychotic smile of hers.

Luke and I looked at her confused untill the door opened revealing the last person I'd want to ever see again.
