You Must Be Happy

Luke's POV

I woke up feeling groggy and depressed.

I thought about it all night and I decided what I should do.

I called up Zayn and waited for him to pick but I wished that he didn't.

'Hey baby what's up?' He asked and I already hated this.

'Hi nothing much just been thinking about you.' I said.

'Awe me too we should do something today.' He said happily.

'Um I can't but I called actually because I, I um well my parents don't want me to see you anymore.' I blurted out.

It was silent for too long before he said something.

'And do you feel the same way?' He asked.

'Of course not I love you but I can't defy my parents because who knows what they'll do.' I said truthfully.

'Well I don't know what to say I mean I really love you and clearly you don't feel the same way.' He said and I could sense the hurt and anger in his voice.

'No I do trust me I really do love you Zayn it's just my parents.' I tried reasoning tears spilling out my eyes.

'whatever Luke I've heard that one before don't play dumb with me. So goodbye and I really do hope you have a great life.'

'Wait Zayn I-' I satrted but he hung up on me leaving me alone, crying as I clutched the phone.

This isn't fair.

This isn't how things are supposed to be.

I love him so much and he's my first boyfriend and eveything I need him.

'Fuck!' I screamed throwing my phone across the room, smashing it on the wall.

The tears poured out of me uncontrollably. I grabbed ny hair pulling it roughly curling up in a ball.

The door opened revealing the last person I want to see.

'Luke what's wrong?' Calum asked.

'What's wrong? What's wrong? I'll tell you what wrong, I had to break up with my boyfriend because you don't know how to mind you own business and stay with your dumb girlfriend.' I spat at him getting up walking towards him.

'I was only looking-' He started.

'SHUT UP! Shut the fuck up. I hate you so much it's unbearable. You ruined everything since we've moved in together.' I yelled as I got closer to him.

'It's okay I know that you don't mean that, you're just angry.' He said taking a step back.

'Angry is an understatement I'm furious. I never want to see your face again!' I yelled one last time before I punched him in the face.

He fell back on the floor clutching his bleeding nose.

'This is for eveything you've done.' I said as I lunged at him punching him.

'I hate you! Why do you need to ruin eveything.' I cried and yelled at the same time as I sat on him.

'Woah what's going on! Luke get off him.' Andrew yelled coming up to me pulling me off as I kicked and screamed.

'Let me go!'

'Luke calm down. What happened?' Andrew asked.

'Well I broke up with Zayn so you must be happy about that.' I said as Calum got up off the floor.

'He punched me in face but it's okay I kind of deserved it.' Calum said.

'You definitely did.' I said.

'Okay enoughnof this. Luke you had no right punching Calum in the face and Calum go clean yourself up.' Andrew said and Calum left to the bathroom.

'Now Luke I'm sorry that you had to breaeup with Zayn but you have to understand where we're coming from and that includes Calum.' He said.

I didn't say anything cause frankly I didn't know what to say.

'Okay.' I simply said as I walked into my room.

I sat on my bed and looked at the broken phone on the floor.

There's nothing else to do.

I lied down and stared at the ceiling thinking about everything.
