"Wait, is that...?" You said, pointing at the boy before you noticed a tiny sparrow flying toward you and landing on Tanjiro's palm.
"Huh?" Tanjiro hummed as you both looked down at the sparrow who kept chirping, telling you both whose faces turned to confusion about what this boy, the sparrow's master was doing. You had learned a bird language from Tanjiro at a young age, so you quite understood what this bird was saying.
"I'M BEGGING YOU! THERE'S NO ONE ELSE! YOU'RE ALL THAT I HAVE!"
You and Tanjiro nodded your heads as Tanjiro raised his face, Shiro also came out of your hair. "I see! Gotcha! I'll do something about it!"
The sparrow's eyes sparkled, feeling happy for Tanjiro's help.
"PLEASE, HELP ME! PLEASE MARRY ME! I'M BEGGING—" The boy kept yelling, holding on to the girl before Tanjiro grabbed his collar, getting him out.
"What do you think you're doing right in the middle of the road?! Can't you see she wants no part of you?! And don't go making trouble for your sparrow, either!"
You came to the boy's right side and stared at him, frowning with hands on your hips. The boy looked at both of you as he recognized the uniform on you both. "That uniform! You're that guy from Final Selection!"
"NO ONE I KNOW IS ANYTHING LIKE YOU! I DON'T KNOW YOU!"
"BUT WE MET, REMEMBER?! WE MET, REMEMBER?!" The boy yelled back at him. "YOU'RE THE ONE WITH THE PROBLEM! LIKE YOUR MEMORY!"
"But I remember you." You spoke up with hand lifting, making both of them turn to you before the boy smiled widely and gasped. Your face turned uncomfortable as you saw him get out of Tanjiro's grip and jump towards you.
"YOU REMEMBER ME?! OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD! A GODDESS FROM THE FINAL SELECTION REMEMBERS ME!"
You quickly dodged him, making his face crash into the dirt. You went to stand beside Tanjiro as you yelled back.
"Never jump toward me like that!"
