the next morning, chase woke up alone in his bed. it made him sad, he was getting used to having noen next to him. maybe after what happened the night before, they should spend a little time apart? but chase didn't want that. he wanted to apologize, but he knew noen might not even want to speak to him now.

he got out of bed and went on with his usual routine, daily practice, shower, coffee hour while feeding his bunny friends. while on his knees at his patio door, he heard a door from the upstairs open. "morning!" addison said, coming down the stairs. "good morning." chase smiled. he liked addison. she was a great friend to him. he would never admit it though, he'd rather pretend she's just an assistant rather then getting sappy with her.

"it's quiet. too quiet." she said, squinting her eyes and looking around. "no jaden?" she asked. "don't say his name too loud, you might summon him." chase said, playfully rolling his eyes. they both chuckled. "so, whatcha want for breakfast?" she asked. "what do you mean?" chase asked. "oh, well i was gonna start making something to eat." she said. chase smiled. he never had anyone who wanted to do things for him. "pancakes?" he asked. she nodded and smiled.

it was weird having someone who offered to help him out with something besides work. as a child he had to do everything for him, and things just continued that way from there. addison was to be 28 in three months or so. she does so much for chase, and he wanted to make her birthday the best one yet. after all, her life was just as tragic as his was.. maybe even worse. but that's a story for another time.

the two quickly ate their food before chase gave his attention back to the bunnies. addison cleaned up and did the dishes. "addison, you aren't a maid. you don't have to do these things for me." he said. "i know, but i want to help. its the least i can do since you let me live here with you." she smiled. he smiled and chuckled.

suddenly, the front door to their home opened. and who was there? the man, the myth, the legend himself.

"GOOD MORNING MY HOES!" jaden shouted walking into the house. "one of you faggots should shut the door." jaden said, pointing to one of the others walking in behind him. chase sighed. "oh god, why are you here? and who did you bring with you?" he asked.

"our fucking family!" jaden said, pointing to anthony and avani behind him. "oh josh is here too. but look, its avanthony!" he smiled. "holy shit, hey guys!" chase smiled. he quickly hugged his friends and introduced them to addison. addison and chase have been working together since she turned 22. this is the first time she meets them. that just goes to show how rarely they come around due to jaden and chase's careers. they don't even trust them as much anymore. and if i were in their shoes.. i wouldn't trust them either.

"hey josh!" chase smiled, hugging the male. "hey!" josh smiled. "how are you and bryce?" he asked. josh stuttered and looked away. "u-um.." anthony took his hand. "we don't talk about bryce. anymore. they aren't together anymore." he said, clearing the air. josh smiled and nodded. "yeah. anthony kinda saved my life." he said. "aw oh my god, i'm happy for you guys. i can't wait for you guys to meet my little angel yourselves. you'd love him so much josh, he's so generous and kind like you." chase smiled josh giggled and nodded.

if it called your attention- bryce and josh have history. bryce was an abuser. from the very start, avani and anthony saw the red flags. he was verbally aggressive. he never let josh go anywhere without him. he always interrogating josh. it was like he didn't trust him.

and he didn't he had no trust for josh, but josh didn't want to accept that. no matter how many times avani and anthony tried to show him that it was bad for him, josh always denied. it took so long for him to realize. it took physical abuse for him to realize it was toxic. his biggest regret was lying to himself, and not listening to anthony beforehand. he later realized anthony was in love with him and turned to the side of good, of course that was after he was almost killed by bryce.
