(Anna's P.O.V.)

Okay, Anna. It's going to be okay. Everything is fine. You're not going to-

Deep breath girl.

I inhale sharply and exhale quickly.

I twist and pull at my fingers that are resting in my lap.

My leg bounces up and down nervously.

I lean forward and my blonde hair falls limply around my face, blocking my view of anything but the floor in front of me.

I am the only girl left.

I just noticed that.

Oh god, this is weird.

Emily was the only other girl and now...

Where is she now?

She was told to jump off the roof or something, right?

I can't remember. I can't keep track anymore.

Around me, the only people left are Nick, Emad, Al and Peyton.

Nick and Emad are leaning against each other. Nick was mad at Emad before wasn't he? I guess that anger doesn't last long when it's your best friend. ( Emiwy357 *wink wink*) Emad's head was resting against Nick's shoulder, and he continuously raised his hand to touch his broken nose. Nick's eyes were open wide and unblinking and his arm rested around Emad's waist.

Peyton was blinking slowly, clearly tired, and he was leaning on his hands that were propped up behind his back. Every few minutes, he would rub his eyes tiredly, wiping off tear stains and trying to get rid of the tiredness, and then prop himself back upon his hands.

Al was lying on his back on the floor. Was he asleep? What an idiot. Now I see why nobody likes him.

My legs were crossed and my elbows rested on my knees. I was exhausted but there wasn't much I could do about that huh.

The man on the phone had been silent for almost 20 minutes now. I wasn't really sure what was going on. Maybe he fell asleep too?

I don't even remember how many of us started here. There was like half our class here though. And now there are only 5 of us left.

Suddenly, the man on the phone coughs really aggressively, causing Emad to jerk up from Nick's shoulder, and Al to sit up abruptly from the floor. Nick's arm stayed snaked around Emad's waist, and Emad soon relaxes and slumps back into his arms.

I pull my hair back and roll my neck, causing it to crack really loudly.

"Ouch, Anna, that sounded like it hurt," The man on the phone says.

I don't know why it shocked me that he used my name so nonchalantly.

"I'm fine," I mutter, rubbing my cold hand on the back of my neck.

"So I guess this is a good time to get your dare out of the way because we're already on the topic of you," he says. I hear a rustle of fabric and I can tell he's shrugging.

"Why me?" I ask.

"Because you're the only one left who hasn't done a dare," he answers immediately.

My eyebrows crease as I make eye contact with Nick, who has been sitting peacefully in his spot all night. Well maybe not peacefully, but he hasn't had to do anything.

I'm staring at him, and he's staring right back, shaking his head really aggressively, tears pooling in his eyes. Emad has seemed to have fallen asleep on Nick's shoulder, but I know he's not asleep because he continues shifting every few minutes to touch his nose, wipe the blood off his face, or re-adjust on Nick's arm.
