(Emad's P.O.V.)
I was shocked.
I looked around at my friends and all of their heads were turned towards Vanessa's body that hung from the balcony upstairs with tears glistening in their eyes.
If I'm being honest, I was sorta crying too. Vanessa was a close friend of mine, and now she's dead.
When Mr. Evil started talking again, no one heard him. Then he got irritated.
"Guys, get over here now, she's dead and staring at her won't change that," he said irritably.
We slowly all walked to the circle and sat back down, no longer knowing what to expect.
"Finally, you guys are so slow," he sighed. "But now that Vanessa's turn is up, what do you guys think is next?" Mr. Evil asked.
Of course, no one answered.
"Wow, guys really? Nothing? Boooring" he groaned. "Emad get up," my eyes almost exploded out of my head.
First, I have to get punched in the face, and now I'm going to die?
Worst sleepover ever an I right?
I get up slowly and carefully and look at my best friends that were sitting on either side of me.
I nod sadly at Peyton, then Nick. I'm going to miss these guys.
"All you have to do is go to the kitchen and take the most dangerous thing you can find under the sink. Then come back. You may go." I growl inwardly.
"Stupid bitch," I mutter under my breath.
"What was that?" Mr. Evil asked angrily. My eyes widen. He wasn't supposed to hear me.
Oops.
"Nothing, nothing, whatever" I answer quickly. I stalk away and waltz into the kitchen. I stalk over to the sink and pull open the white cupboards that were under the sink like he said.
I scan the contents and find what I was looking for.
A very big syringe poked out from behind some cleaning products. I grimace at the look of it and pick it up with my index finger, and my thumb, not wanting to have the feeling of it to actually process in my mind.
I glide back into the living room and drop the syringe to the floor with a flick of my wrist. It clattered to the floor and a couple of people that were left in the circle flinched.
"Ahh Emad, welcome back," I heard the smile in his voice and frowned.
"Now what?" I demand.
"Tsk-tsk Emad. Watch your tone. All you need to do now is get some lead and melt it, then you're good to go." I raise my eyebrows at this and stalk back into the kitchen. I open the microwave and a bowl was already sitting there.
I pull it out and examine it. A puddle of metallic liquid swished around in the bowl.
I walk back into the living room, almost spilling some of the liquid on the way and placing it back on the floor.
"Thanks, Emad. Now, all you have to do is inject it into Solielle's bloodstream and your turn is over. Easy am I right?" I shake my head.
"Yes," I lie.
"Good. Good," he mutters almost so that I couldn't hear him.
I bend down and take the syringe back in my hands. I put it in the bowl and I watch as the liquid fills up the small tube.
When it's finally full, I straighten myself and walk over to Soleille, who was silently crying in her spot. I remember what she did to my nose and bend down in front of her, balancing on my knees.
Soleille looks me in the eyes and narrows her eyebrows sadly.
'Please don't do this' Her eyes begged. 'Don't kill me'
I look her dead in the eyes and smile.
"I'll do it if I want to."
If possible, Soleille's eyes grew even wider.
"Emad, you don't have to do this," she whined.
"You know I have to," I answered.
She bent her head and buried her face in her hands.
"Just do it. Quick. Get it over with." She mumbled.
I smile quickly and I put my shaking hand next to her face, aiming the syringe at her neck.
I hear her take a deep breath and I watch her back rise and fall.
I slowly insert the syringe into her veins and she twitches at the feeling.
I inject the liquid into her system and she gasps. She twitches and shakes and falls back. She writers around on the ground and I smile at the sight.
"What was in that bowl!? It takes months for lead poisoning to take effect!" Nick shouts. I turn to him and realize that he's right. I turn to the phone and a hallow laugh came from the other end.
"I knew that you stupid kids would fall for it. It was poison in there! You guys know nothing!!!" he shouts.
I was able to hear the evil in his voice.
I glare at the ceiling and stomp back to my spot. I sit back down next to Peyton and Nick and they both look at me with a look of disgust in their eyes.
"What's wrong guys?" I ask, extremely confused.
"You just killed Soleille with a smile on your face," Peyton said.
"Yeah, dude. And you had a smile on your face the whole time. What's wrong with you?" Nick asks, angrily. Nick doesn't usually get angry so his tone sort of startled me.
"She broke my nose!" I whisper shout. I didn't want the man to hear me. He was talking to a few of the kids in the circle, but really he was talking to himself. No one was answering him.
"That doesn't mean you kill her! You guys were friends!" Peyton shouted. Loud this time.
Nick and I gasp, with our eyes wide. We turned to the phone and the other end was silent.
"Shut up guys, we don't have time for arguing. It's time for my next dare."
I could hear the smirk in his voice.
This game was going to be the end for all of us.
I can feel it.
