(Soleille's P.O.V.)

Even though we were all tired, at 3 AM, all of the kids that were staying at Peyton's house gathered in the living room.

"Ok guys, we should get into a circle so it's easier to play," Peyton said over all of out loud conversations.  I watched as Audrey walked into the center of our newly formed circle and pulled her phone out of her pocket. She put it down in the middle and opened the new Truth or Dare app.

I thought it would be a good idea to volunteer to go first and I scooted to the middle of the circle. I reached to press the dare button when Audrey's phone rang. Audrey looked over at me and nodded, allowing me to answer the phone.

I pressed answer and scooted back to my place in the circle. They waited for anyone to say anything but the other end of the line was silent. Some of the teens looked around at each other in confusion. That's when someone started talking

"Hello children" the caller said. My head turned towards Anna as she gasped. The caller continued talking.  "You guys are playing Truth Or Dare, correct?" I watched as looks shot around the circle. Finally, Ahyan answered with a hesitant 'yes'.

The creepy man kept talking. "Ok. Wonderful. Now you are no longer going to play truth or dare but you are going to play Dare or Dare with me. Who's going first?" He asked.

Everyone looked around the circle. Slowly and silently, Audrey moved towards her phone. I tried to give her a signal to stop but she did not see me. I watched as she reached her hand towards the phone, still not making any noise. Her hand was about a foot away from the phone when the button disappeared. I gasped and so did most of the other people in the circle.  The scary man laughed.

"You thought you could get out of playing with me? HaHa, you guys are stupider than I thought. Well no. You guys are playing with me whether you like it or not got it? I'm not waiting for you guys to answer. Anyways, here are the rules.
1) You have to do any dare you are told to, or else.
2) You can not leave the game or skip your turn.
3) You are not allowed to give away your dare.
4) There are no truths in this game no matter what. That's why it's called Dare Or Dare dummies.

Those are the rules. Break them and there will be consequences.  The game will start off easy, kind of, then proceed to get harder and meaner as it goes." The man went quiet. Then he started talking again and I jumped.

"Since you guys did not choose someone to go earlier, I will choose. Because you were so nice to volunteer earlier, Soleille, you can go first. Get up." I looked around at the circle at my friends. They were shaking their heads, motioning for me not to do what he asks.

I remembered as the man on the other end of the phone had said that something bad will happen if we don't do our dares so I stood up anyway. I looked down at the phone and tried very hard not to look at my friends because I knew I would feel guilty for not listening to them.  I jumped again as the man started talking again.

"Ok. Soleille, thank you for not being stupid and for listening to me. Here is your dare. You are going to punch Emad in the face with all the force you have. Do not hold back because I will know and I will punish you." I looked down at the phone again.

"No. I can't do that. He's my friend." I said with a sad voice.

"Oh well. You have to pretend that you hate everyone or you will get way more than just the little black eye Emad will have after you punch him."

I looked over at Emad and he shook his head at me, upset or maybe even mad that I'm listening to this psychopath on the other end of the phone. Still, I walked over to him and stuck out my hand to help him up. He took my hand and stood up, not looking me in the eyes. I pulled my hand back and closed my eyes, not wanting to see what I was going to do to his face after I punch him.

I felt him flinch because I had my hand on his shoulder. I let my hand real forward and slam him in the face. I'm pretty sure the entire room heard his nose break. I gasped and let go of his shoulder.  I watched as he stumbled backwards and fell to the floor. I didn't notice as my hand flew to my mouth, my face frozen in a state of shock. Emad looked up at me from the floor with wide eyes, his hands covering his nose, trying to stop the blood flow.

"Emad, I'm so-" He put his hand up to stop me from talking.

"Just stop." He said, not looking at me. Tears started to drip down my cheeks as I watch him get up and stumble over to the washroom, blood dripping on the floor as he went. I sat back down in my spot and looked around at the shocked faces of my friends.

Minutes later, Emad stumbled back into the room looking dazed. I stood up again, wanted to apologize but he was avoiding me.

"Emad, I'm sorry..." I said, tears still running down my face.

"Ok, I've had enough of your sappy apologies." The scary man started talking again. So I sat back down. "You guys are sad and depressed, we should just continue with the dares. Soleille, that was great." I watched as Emad glared at the phone, still holding a cloth over his bleeding nose. "Anyways, let's continue."
