Chapter 1. The Fox and The Rabbit.
Katsumi MikasaKatsumi drove to a place called Crown Hotel, it was located in the Juban area of Tokyo. Her room was pre booked by her lover, Kikko Nakamura. Katsumi walked up to the room, and she heard the door unlocked with a loud click as she pushed the door and entered.
The room was a pale white with sky blue walls and yellow furniture. It was on the 1st floor and the shining moon illuminated the room. Her bedroom had blue walls and a stormy gray ceiling. It had a dark black double bed and the room smelled like cherries, it was really desolate and silent. Katsumi dropped her cloak and changed her clothes into a pair of black pajamas with white bones all over it for the pattern. She gazed upon a rectangular floor mirror, which showed her form beneath the cloak.
She was around 6.5t tall, with a body that was quite muscular but slender. Her hair was a sooty white colour, her fox ears and tails matched her hair in colour and tone. Her eyes were ember orange and she just took off all of her makeup. She climbed into bed and fell asleep on the comfortable mattress, in a position similar to how a real fox would sleep in.
The next day, Katsumi was at Crown Game Centre in the Juban area. She was wearing her cloak outfit again and had to take her hood down because of the rules at the arcade. The rumours she heard was that the girl she was looking for was a regular customer to the arcade, she immediately entered and was greeted by a man with short canary yellow hair and blue eyes.
“Welcome to Crown Game Centre, how may I help you?” The man asked, Katsumi pulled out a bone and chewed on it. Her behaviour came off as very eccentric and the man was taken aback by it. He smelled like cola mixed with elderberries, or at least. That's what his perfume smelled like, Katsumi’s senses were more sensitive because she was like a canine.
“I'm looking for a gold blonde haired girl with a red ribbon, have you seen her?” Katsumi asked as she examined the centre, there were various other arcade games of differing genres. The blinking lights, the beeping sounds, and the music of the video games. It was something that was extremely alien to a country bumpkin like Katsumi.
“Oh, are you on about Minako Aino? She and her friends are regular customers here, especially Usagi Tsukino.” The manager replied, Katsumi gazed upon his name tag and it read “Motoki.”
“I see, are they here now?” Katsumi asked, Motoki sighed as he prepared to give Katsumi the bad news.
“They aren't here yet, why don't you play one of our games whilst you wait?” He said as he handed Katsumi a 100 yen coin. Katsumi walked around and then she saw it. The gold hair, the boureguard skirt and heels. The pink mask, and the eyes, oh the eyes. She saw a video game depicting her beloved idol, Sailor V. Like a hunter drawn to fresh prey, she walked to the game and she sat down at the cabinet. It was a run and gun style of game and Katsumi was no stranger to video games. She put in a coin and focused on the game.
At first, she took it slow. Learning the patterns of the enemies before making risky moves. Then she began to blitz though it with ease, beating level after level. Till she got to what appeared to be the final level, it was a skyscraper with the mob boss in the final room. The room was covered in loot, and Katsumi was determined to bring him to justice, as if she was Sailor V herself. She went down to her last life and the mob boss was almost defeated, after dodging attack after attack. She focused on the patterns and then….
POW!
The mobster fell to the floor and V stood with a victory pose, tears of joy fell down Katsumi’s face as she saw the villain carted off to jail. For once in her entire life, she felt like a hero who just saved the day. She always wanted to be a superhero, just like Sailor V. She always wanted to be a symbol of peace and justice that everyone looked up to, yet she always felt like a pathetic loser in reality.
