Chapter 9. A Heroic Test
[Warning, blood, violence adventure bondage]
After the movie was over, Katsumi was fast asleep on the pink cozy couch along with Minako who undid her senshi transformation mid viewing. Katsumi left the compact by window and it glowed in the bright moonlight, recharging its energy.
The next day…
Katsumi was sleeping on the couch, in a deep slumber when Minako began to shake her awake.
"Katsumi! Wake up! It's time for some training!" Minako yelled as Katsumi yawned, she groaned tiredly as she got up and stretched.
"Mina chan… Can I please grab some breakfast first?" Katsumi asked as she yawned again, Minako nodded in agreement and Katsumi went downstairs to the kitchen, then grabbed a piece of fresh Tri Stag liver. She took a bite out of it as the savory taste of the meat filled her mouth, and the taste of the blood within it felt like liquid wine. She eventually ate the glorious breakfast and wiped off the stag's blood with a reusable nanofiber napkin that functions as a face sponge.
Later...
Katsumi and Minako were by a soothing waterfall, as a beautiful rainbow formed over the top of it as a graceful omen of peace. The gentle sound scape made the place feel relaxing and the misty air felt cool to the skin.
"What are we learning today Minako? If it's hand to hand, I'll kick your @## like the last time we tried that."Katsumi said in a fun and endearing tone, Minako giggled a little bit as she smiled a bit.
"Actually, I wanted to teach you some important heroic lessons. "Minako replied with a subtle smile, Katsumi sighed as she sat on a flat granite rock.
"I don't think I'm ever gonna be as good as you… I almost killed a robber. I'm expected to be as perfect as Sailor V from the manga." Katsumi said as she sighed in utter depression, her confidence in herself is lacking after getting captured.
"Katsumi, you'll never be sailor V in the manga.... You're Sailor V in real life, Sailor Vixen! You shouldn't strive for perfection, just improvement. Mkay? Be yourself and work on yourself, understand? " she said, looking her in the eye. Katsumi didn't budge from her position.
""But.. the mangas, the anime episodes. They depict you doing heroics and being perfect, and I'M the exact opposite of that!" Katsumi exclaimed as she just sat in a slump, her mood was 6 ft under at this point Minako sighed and shook her head in disagreement.
"Manga, cartoons, TV shows.... That's all acting and information scrubbed to please the masses. The media is only half right, in reality that's not the real me. Heck, half of the villains are made up! " Minako said as she was trying to make Katsumi feel better, she then put her hand on Katsumi’s right shoulder."I'm more relatable than the media portrays, I'm very clumsy, and was constantly late to school. I enjoy volleyball and I want to be an idol someday." Minako explained as she gave Katsumi her trademark smile that was as warming as the sun.
"Well, my dream was to be you Minako chan. So nobody has to go through what I went through." Katsumi said as she began to uncontrollably shake as another terrible memory began to fill her mind, something so terrible she began to have a panic attack, Minako immediately got worried and stayed by Katsumi’s side.
"Katsumi, breathe. Take it slow, and breathe." Minako said as she tried her best to support her student, after 10 minutes. Katsumi’s breathing returned to normal as she felt extremely exhausted, and she tried to bring herself down. "I can tell you have been through the wringer, if you're up for sharing. It might help." Minako said as she helped Katsumi calm down, she began to notice some odd quirks. This panic attack was different to her fire related ones, as she tightly grabbed her thighs and formed herself into a protective bubble.
