It was now dark out, which meant that there was less than a couple of hours left until midnight.

It's pretty obvious that half-wit Charming plans on embarrassing me in front of the entire kingdom so that by the end of the show, the clock would strike midnight, and I will turn into a human popsicle with no way of getting out of it.

There's nothing I can do now but just stand here and watch the ridiculous performance backstage next to Shrek until someone drags us on stage while we're still handcuffed and chained.

🎶Rapunzel: I wait alone up here
I'm trapped another day🎶

Oh dear god, they've made this into a musical? It's no wonder Shrek and I are here. This is torture enough, and that's saying a lot because I happen to love musicals...except for this one, obviously.

🎶Rapunzel: Locked up here

And now for Charming to make his 'grand entrance' on a stallion inside a clam shell.

He's singing, too?! If I could face-palm right now, I would, but I can't...so....yeah.

🎶Charming: Princess, my love
At last you shall be freed
I'm strong and brave and dashing my way there
With speed! With might!
With soft and bouncy hair🎶

I rolled my eyes. "Good grief."

Shrek chuckled. "Yeah, someone pass us a bucket because we're gonna puke from his singing."

🎶Charming: Through the blistering desert🎶

I sweat-dropped. "The talking trees have a part in this as well?"

Shrek nodded. "Sounds like it. Pretty much all of them have a part in this some way or another."

🎶Charming: Across the stormiest sea🎶

🎶Charming: Facing creatures so vile🎶

🎶Foul!🎶

🎶Charming: So you can gaze upon me~🎶

I cringed at that last note Charming sang. "I think my ears are bleeding. If they're not, then they definitely will be if he keeps on singing."

🎶Rapunzel: I knew you'd come for me
And now we finally meet🎶

And from my plate of love you'd eat🎶
