The Emperors New Groove: And New Heart (Kuzco x Female Reader)

Scary Jungle

Pacha and I were pushing our way through the jungle trying to locate Kuzco. "So, how did you get engaged to Emperor Kuzco?" Pacha asked curious. "A so call friend sold me into the deal. By the time I realize what was happening it was too late." I explained. "I'm sorry to hear that (Name)." Pacha told me.

"It's fine. I'm actually kinda use to this." I said. "What do you...." Pacha was cut off by the sound of screaming. "I think we just found, Kuzco." I said before we both took off running toward the direction of the screams.

We stopped when we came to the edge of a cliff, from our spot we could see that Kuzco was cornered on another cliff by jaguars. I look around and locked into some vines.

I smile and grab one of the vines, hanging from a tree. "Whoa whoa, what are you doing?!" Pacha asked me. "I used to do this all the time when I was a kid, don't worry."

I scream as I leapt and swung toward Kuzco. Unfortunately the vine snapped and I fell and landed right onto Kuzco. I guess being a light little kid made it easier. Kuzco smirked and down at me. "I knew you couldn't resist me!"

"Shut up, I was trying to save you!" I growled at him. We both turned our attention back to the jaguars, who were snarling at us. At that moment, Pacha comes swinging down on his own vine right toward the jaguars. Pacha just swung right past us.

The jaguars went back to snarling at us, not noticing that Pacha was swinging from behind. He grabbed both Kuzco and I right before the jaguars pounced. "It's okay you're Highness! You're safe now!"

Then somehow the vine gets wrapped around a large branch and the three of us were tied to a tree. Somehow of course I was strapped next Kuzco, while Pacha was tie behind us on the other side of the branch.

"Maybe I'm just new to the whole rescuing thing, but this, to me, but this might be considered a step backwards, wouldn't you say?" Kuzco asked sarcastically.

"Better this then getting eaten by jaguars." I told him. "It's going to be okay, we can figure this out." Pacha told us, then the branch begins to crack. "I hate you." Kuzco told Pacha.

The branch then breaks off from the tree, and the three of us plummeted down to the raging river below us.

The log landed into the water, for a moment we were under the water, then above it, then under, then back up. Finally the branch finally settle and we were above the water.

"Better this then getting eaten by jaguar." Kuzco mock in a girly voice. "Anything else you want to add, Miss Hottie?" He asked glaring at me.

"Yeah, if we die. I'll going to kill you for getting us in the situation in the first place!" I told him. "Oh yeah well..." Kuzco pause, thinking on what I said. "Wait what?" He asked.

"Uh-oh." We heard Pacha say from the other side of the log. "Don't tell me. We're about to go over a huge waterfall." Kuzco said. "Yep." Pacha replied. "Sharp rocks at the bottom?" Kuzco asked. "Most likely."

"Bring it on."

"(Name)?" I felt someone lightly shake me. "(Name), can you hear me?" I groan and slowly open my eyes to see Pacha sitting next to me, he smiles in relief. "Oh thank goodness you're alright." I give a weak cough as I sit up, Pacha hold out his arms in case I fall back down.

"Are we dead?" I asked, pushing my wet hair out of my face. "No, we're alive. But I can't find Kuzco." He told me. "Is that really a bad thing?" I asked, earning a knowing glare from him. The kind you see father's give their kids. "Sorry, you're right. Maybe he wash up shore."

We got up and started searching, when I spotted the llama himself, laying in the wet mud, the water washing up to half his body. "Pacha, I found him!" I called out to the village man, as I run over to Kuzco, pulling him away from the water.
