Gligar's Time to Shine

I have no idea what to put up top so here's ash and co doing Z move poses

Gligar stood in front of Izuku staring down the Midnight Lycanroc. Both waiting to make a move before they attacked. Then Lycanroc made the first move.  Hand glowing dark purplish black He ran towards Gligar using throat chop.

“Gligar use sand attack to the eyes and dodge test it’s ability” Izuku called out wanting to see if it had Keen Eyes or Vital Spirit. Using her tail while gliding Gligar flung sand into the face of lycanroc and went upward avoiding the attack. Once impacted Lycanroc’s eyes glow red as he uses his paw to try and get the sand out of its eyes and shake it out. It had the ability of Vital Spirit.

“Gligar quick while it’s distracted use X-Scissor” Izuku called out with his Lycanroc looking closely seeing how his other form fought. Gligar swiftly glided down claws glowing a greening color while in a x shape that she learned from leavanny, as she crashed into the Lycanroc pushing it back only slightly.

Unfortunately Lycanroc was able to recover and smacked Gligar away with a throat chop. As Gligar got up he saw Lycanroc slam its hands to the ground starting another stone edge. In a hurry Gligar used Acrobatics to move from the ground out of the way.

“Gligar use Sand attack again, hit and run between steel wing and sand attack keep him blind” Izuku said as Gligars wing gained a metallic glow doing hit and run attacks. However after the 6th steel wing Lycanroc got annoyed and as Gligar approached again used a counter to send Gligar into the side of the cliff wall. Then used stone edge where she couldn’t dodge doing massive damage.

Gligar then flew forward and used sand attack again in the eyes causing Lycanroc to be irritated however instead of using steel wing Gligar surprised Izuku by using Screech. This move while new was loud. It caused izuku to cover his ears but it was much worse for the Midnight Lycanroc who was right in front of Gligar not able to cover its ears.

“Gligar finishes it by using Steel wing to swipe it to the ground then crash into it with Acrobatics to get close.” Izuku commanding as the tides of battle have turned. “Now constant slam of steel wings using Screech to prevent blocking” He finished.

The Lycanroc being larger than normal and having larger ears was not able to take it and feel to the ground in pain, not able to continue battling. Gligar had won and proved she was able to stand amongst the other heavy hitters of the group with brutal combos. Suddenly Gligar turned to Izuku and crashed into him hugging. Izuku then handed the Razor fang he held for the battle and gave it to gligar so when time came she could evolve. “Congrats Gligar you showed massive improvement.” Izuku congratulated his friend. 

Unfortunately they didn’t notice that the ground they were standing on was no longer stable and it fell beneath Izuku’s weight. It happened so fast that Malsumis and his Dusk Lycanroc weren’t able to grab him. Azelf went to use it’s psychic powers to catch him but Gligar glided down fast and swiftly to catch him. 

In the speed she was glowing, time finally played to advantage as she glowed. Her body grew in size as Gligar evolved from Gligar to Gliscor. “Gli Gliscor” Gliscor screamed out as she managed to grab onto izuku. Pulling him in to go into the ball. They were however surrounded in a psychic glow lifting him up. Azelf grabbed them preventing them from falling as Malsumis and the Two Lycanrocs going down the cliff

After a whole minute Izuku spoke up. “Okay that was traumatizing. Still Congratulations GLiscor on your evolution” The Midnight Lycanroc walked up to Izuku as Everyone went to protect him.
However Lycanroc handed Izuku Two things instead, A Lycanium-Z and a Rockium-z. He then went back up the cliff. Somehow a totem pokemon lived in the forest.

“Izuku looked down,” Azelf said suddenly in surprise. Izuku looked at the ground to see a stone. Azelf then spoke up “Izuku, that's a Key stone, one of the two items needed to mega evolve pokemon.

“Looks like we may need to find Houndoom and Aggron A mega stone. However, let's go home. We got Gliscor’s Fang to help evolve and I am still shaken from nearly dying” Izuku pleaded, grabbing the stones.

Another three months have passed since Gliscors' evolution. Izuku was now able to walk around the forest without fear. He even managed to set up a system. While his Leavanny was the bug type head figure it was more of a care role. In terms of combat the second in command became the general. Having said that Leavanny was no slouch and able to combat the general.

Who was the general of the bug types. It was a powerful Scolipede. But there were more than just bug types. The forest was large and was perfect for most pokemon. Yes Land based Ice types have trouble and a few may travel in the winter but it was unlikely. Pokemon like the forest Sceptile line, Shiftry and other similar pokemon helped take care of territory disputes.

Since that time Izuku had managed to find 3 more Z crystals. One for grass type moves. One for Water type moves. And last was basic Normalium-Z. However they also found other things. To Izuku’s and Malsumis’s joy a Houndoomnite. However a surprise was an Ampharosite. While Izuku had no plans to capture a mareep but kept it just in case.
His team had made great progress. Lairon had evolved into an Aggron becoming a powerhouse. His fighting style wasn’t about trickery no he was about brutal pure power. Lycanroc and Gliscor had learned the move stone edge. Yet they got the two different versions. Lycanroc Summoned large blue stones from the ground that head towards the opponent. Gliscor manifested it by having sharp stone shards around her and firing them at the target.

Le Time Skip

Izuku was now 11 years old. He had officially spent 5 years in the forest. He knew this because every day he would make a notch on a tree he named calendar. What it worked, don't blame him. Who knew that it would only take that long to become the ruler of the forest. The pokemon of the forest while strong respected him. He was known to walk with the strongest pokemon in the forest.

 Malsumis is able to fight Azelf pretty decently but has been able to gain the advantage with Mega evolution. Malsumis was a dangerous opponent knowing both howl and nasty plot. Azelf only learned nasty plot while Lycanroc learned swords dance.

That's not to say others fell behind. Gliscor only got stronger. She Managed to learn Poison jab but continued to train it. Instead of just the arms Gliscor managed to coat the entire tail in the poison attack and strike with it for a surprise.

In those years Izuku managed to build a good build for an 11 year old having to scavenge in the forest. In those 5 years he managed to become good at archery. One training he did was to hit Leavanny’s energy ball. As they go into the air.

Now it was night time. It was one of the rare times he was eating stantler or deerling instead of fish pokemon and berries. He then looked at his pokemon and his family and spoke up.

“We have made so much progress over the years. Yet we can only get so far here. Azelf helped up but this will be our last year in Isolation. After this when it becomes 6 years we are going to reveal ourselves.” Izuku spoke out

“Not for Glory, not for fame but for the sake of being seen. To move forward, To strive to be our best selves. We are the heroes of our story!” Izuku cheered from the cabin.

The group of pokemon with him cheered out as well. They will not just be known, they will make history.

Okay to clear things up While izuku hasn’t captured the forest pokemon they are loyal to him like the scolipiede and would battle with him if asked. The Pokemon he has on his captured team are

Malsumis
Gliscor
Lycanroc
Azelf
Leavanny
Aggron

This will not be all he actually captures. They are just the ones he actually captured so far

The next Chapter will be the final year alone in the woods. Since I didn’t write the conquest of the entire forest, just parts of it, the next chapter will mainly be izuku going around the forest so I can go through it and the parts. Then we finally get to the return to civilization
