Finding A Goal

It was a new day In The Forest. Izuku woke up from his Hammock and got up to Meet with Larrion and the sewaddle colony. The plan was harder done than said. There was a group of flying types that appeared in the forest. 

The problem is that they were taking all the berries. This in itself was dangerous as Izuku now had to survive on them as well as the stray magikarp or Basculin rockruff brings him. Maybe he should consider making a bow out of some of the wood. He can make ammunition and itless likely to break in an attack like a spear. He would just need to learn

However the berries weren’t his biggest issue at the time. No they have accidentally declared war against him when a Taillow decided to attack one of the sewaddles in an attempt to eat them.

Izuku was having Larrion break down more trees while cutting them with Metal claw. Then the Sewaddle would carry them to the cover while rockruff was guarding them. Meanwhile Izuku, Malsumis, and Azelf would go to the leader of the new pack of birds, a Fearrow and drive him and his flock out of the woods. The problem they would have to beat the entire flock.

Izuku left early in the day with the sun partway to the sky maybe around ten o'clock when they arrived at the nest. The sun was perfectly straight in the air around noon. It took around two hours just to arrive and now they would have to battle the group of 22 Avian pokemon including the fearow. 

Then they attacked Azelf and used confusion to slam over half of them in the ground as Malsumis used howl to release a smog. Against the air superiority they would have to be careful as possible. However Fearow must have had a Murkrow as a parent as it went to attack azelf with a faint attack only to be countered when Azelf blocked it. They sent it to Malsumis.

Malsumis caught the fearow in his jaw using a bite. Around them Azelf was finishing off some while others succumbed to poison. Then opening her maul she bit down again this time with Fire fang before launching fearow away with a dark pulse. Bruised and beaten The fearow struggles to get up before flying away with a couple native pidgeotto launching guests to help send him away.

They had successfully got rid of the new flock and a group of bird pokemon that lived in the forest originally came forward and landed in front of him. Izuku was not looking forward to having to fight them. Then instead of attacking the flying types bowed to him as if pledging loyalty to him for his help.

Izuku was able to work out the flying types an aerial patrol. With the entire forest having hands on deck and knowing the problems early would help prevent it. However Izuku was still slightly troubled and Azlef noticed it

“What's wrong Izuku” Azelf asked telepathically

(Okay I do not want to write telepathically everytime azelf speaks so anytime he speaks it is telepathically from here on out so I won’t have to constantly write it)

“It’s just that even with all this, why canI befriend Pokemon amongst males. Why did once I make a friend in pokemon my mom have to die. Why are you a legendary being nice to me.” Izuku cried out wondering.

“Tell me do you know legendaries are immune to the effects that make pokemon dislike your gender or that there once was a time where males were able to get along just as well” Azelf asked

“No they never mentioned anything like that in the books from school” Izuku answered

“Do you think that Pokemon would dislike a large group of people based on gender for no reason. That’s like having only one gender get super powers for no proper reason. There is history that makes it like this'' Azelf responded

“Can you tell me please” Izuku asked

“Well I may not be the being of knowledge like Uxie but I can explain let me tell you a story” Azelf smiled

Long ago thousands of years ago People and Pokemon lived side by side helping each other. By then the story of the legends came to be known as facts. One day an Meteor managed to enter the atmosphere hurtling towards earth.

It came hurtling down going to strike a place known as Michina Town. However Arceus came to stop it. However powerful they may be, they are still alive. They managed to destroy the Meteor. Unfortunately this came at a cost. 

Due to the impact Arceus had lost all of their 17 plates each representing one of the types of pokemon except normal. This left them at the brink of death. However there was a witness to these events. A man named Damos. He spent an hour finding and retrieving the plates and finding one to return to Arceus. This being enough for them to summon all

Despite saving the world from the meteor It still left Michina a waste land so From pity and gratitude for the man who saved them Arceus used the Meadow plate, the splash plate, the Earth plate, the zap plate, and the Draco Plate.

These 5 plates combined to make the Jewel of Life. Damos made a promise to return the plate a year from that day. Using the power from the Jewel the land managed to flourish. However all things must come to an end.

Despite being known as humble when the year came his personality took a twist. He didn’t give Arceus the jewel and attacked him with electric types. In anger Arceus destroyed the temple built as a shrine to him as well as killing Damos. In the Destruction he managed to retrieve 4 of the five plates leaving only the Meadow plate behind.

Due to the injuries from hundreds of electric types he went back to a slumber to sleep. However he was still filled with anger at Damos, the man that helped yet betrayed him. This caused a change in the world as when he left he accidently altered pokemon. Because of his anger to Damos he accidentally led over the next 300 years for pokemon to start to become unruly to men to the point where they couldn’t train them anymore.

This was cause by his resentment taking form. As he was angry he didn't notice the change he was making as by time he went into slumber it had already started to manifest.

When Arceus eventually reawoken he planned to destroy Earth but saw the changes he made by mistake  and decided against it. For he had already changed the world to much that caused him regret for his accident. He could not reverse it though since sudden change would have caused disaster. The only bright side is due to their importance in world order, legendaries were able to ignore and reject the anger and not let it change us.

Some people change history in the books to ignore the men of the past we lead to society now where you are. However you have Aura which lets you do something most males can’t connect to Aura that is what leads us here.

“And that is how this came to be” Azelf finished telling Izuku.

“I I never knew” Izuku muttered out learning the truth.

“Why you unlocked Aura I do not know but I chose you due to your immense will Power maybe just maybe you're here to give hope or maybe to lead into a new era as a king.”

“I’ll make you guys proud of me as well as you mom” Izuku thought as they made it back to camp. Larrion cheering finally mastering Dragon Rush to a combat usable degree. Smiling, he went back to help with the construction. praising the swaddle that evolved into swadloons.

It would take a month or so to finish the cabin even with help. However he now had a goal when he finished. To lead the forest he was in before managing to do what they said a male never could be a Hero. With this new goal Izuku had finally found a sense of Closure and was on his way to healing after his mothers death.

(Yes I used the movie Arceus and the Jewel of life with slight changes for a reason why males can’t use pokemon as I always found it weird how in stories like this they never gave a reason why but just cause. It also helps Izuku reach a goal and move forward. Next Chapter or two will be the last couple of years in the forest before we get to his return they will be a long ones)
