After Andrea leaves, I'm all alone again for a little while before someone comes out to join me. The lucky soul is Kenny, followed by a very sleepy looking Shelby a few seconds later. He takes a seat next to me on the couch and Shelby sits on his lap, her head in the crook of his neck. She looks happy. They're cute together. (:
"So, how's the happy Skenny?" I ask with a laugh.
"I'm tired, but good." Shelby smiles, her head still in Kenny's neck.
"That's good."
"Ya."
"How about you Kenneth?"
"I'm good." He smiles. "How about you Samuel?"
"Pretty good, just annoyed that I could barely sleep last night for some reason. Oh well."
"Well, that sucks." Kenny laughs. "I slept perfectly because Shelby was cuddling with me."
"I need a cuddle buddy...." I say sadly.
"You can have Taylor till the end of Digi. I don't need him if I have Kenny." Shelby laughs.
"Okay....." I consider the idea. Ah, what do I got to loose? "Bring me the bear." I say seriously.
"One sec let me go get him." Shelby giggles, climbing off of Kenny and heading back to her room.
"I lost my cuddle buddy." Kenny pouts then cracks a smile. "Oh well, she'll be back soon enough."
Ten minutes pass and Shelby comes back. "Sorry, Kylie was in there and she was a little upset so I was comforting her." She apologizes, handing me her bear.
"Thanks." I say taking Taylor from her. "Why was she upset?" I ask worried about the fact that Kylie is upset.
"Oh she's just got really bad cramps. She'll be okay, I promise." She replies in a 'it's no big deal' tone of voice.
"Oh okay. Well, I'm gonna take a nap now. Don't mind me." I say cuddling with the bear and trying to fall back to sleep on the couch.
I "sleep" for like twenty minutes but I'm not out cold. It's one of those "I'm asleep but still aware of my surroundings and anything will wake me up" type of sleeps. When I wake up, Skate is walking out into the room. He sits down on the opposite couch, looking to be in a bad mood. A couple minutes later, Kylie comes out too and sits in the chair, being sure to sit as far away from Skate as possible. There seems to be an awkward tension between them so thick that you could only cut it with a steak knife. Weird.... I wonder what happened?
Andrea is the next to come out and she looks between Kylie and Skate with a confused look on her face and chooses to sit next to Nate on the couch. Brent joins our crew a few minutes later and sits on the couch with Nate and Andrea.
"So.... How is everyone?" Brent asks, trying to get rid of the awkwardness dwelling in the living room.
"Fine." Skate and Kylie reply together.
"Uh... Okay... How about everyone else?" He laughs nervously.
"Good." The rest of us reply.
"That's good....."
The awkwardness carries on for the rest of the day and no one knows what's going on or if they do, they don't say anything.
After Digi that night, we meet a bunch of sweet Houston girls at the M&G, one of which I remember seeing over the summer. Kenny must remember her too because he smiles at her.
"Hola! Como estas." He says to her, why I don't know.
The girl grins. "Oh my God, you do remember me!" She laughs.
"Yeah, I do. You and I carried on a conversation in Spanish until I messed up."
"It's okay!" She replies excitedly.
Her, Kenny and I talk awhile before Shelby walks over to join us.
"Oh my god, Shelby?" The fan we've been talking to says surprised.
"Diana?" Shelby replies.
I wonder how they know each other?
