Jessie's POV:

The taxi comes to stop in front of a large house. "We're here Miss." the cabbie says.

I look at the meter on the dash board, and shake my head at how outrageous the price is for a 20 minute drive. I quickly dig through my purse, pulling out change and bills putting them all in the cabby's outstretched hand. I finally come up with enough down to the cent. He smiles at me and I hand him a 10 dollar bill as a tip. There goes all my money.

I open the yellow door stepping on to the sidewalk. I grab my suitcase from the trunk and barely shut the door before the cab speeds away looking for more customers.

I set my old brown suitcase down on the sidewalk and take in the house in front of me. Its huge, it makes sense though because three full grown guys live here and another 3 stay from time to time.

I pick my suitcase back up and start the long trek up to the front door. My beat up Converse slap the ground with each step, making me self-conscious. I reach the front steps and hold my hand up to knock but decide better of it and ring the doorbell.

My stomach does flips. Jc doesn't know I am coming and he probably doesn't realize I exist. I hear footsteps and I tuck a stray hair from my messy bun behind my ear.

A boy about my age opens the door, he smiles and says,"Hello." He has a lisp which is actually unbelievably adorable.

"Umm hi, I'm Jessie. Is Jc here?" I say as I observe the guy in front of me. His light brown hair is brushed back and gelled in the front. His brown, puppy dog eyes look into mine.

"Yeah, hold on let me get him." The guy says. He shuts the door, keeping it only half way open. "JC, THERE'S SOMEONE HERE ASKING FOR YOU!" He yells.

"Hold on, Ricky!" A male voice yells from above. Ricky turns to me and kind of stares at me.

"This is going to sound strange but you look kind of look like Jc. Actually you look a lot like him." Ricky says scrutinizing my face. I stay silent and purse my lips.

"Hey who's there Ric-" He looks at me. "You could have told me it was a girl! I would have hurried, especially if I knew it was a gorgeous girl like this."

I blush, but not because I am flattered but because I am embarrassed. My twin brother thinks I am gorgeous. Ewwwww. "Umm hi Jc."

"Hello, do I know you?" Jc asks me.

"I was hoping you would." I say disappointed that my twin brother doesn't recognize me. I was hoping I wouldn't have to tell him that we are related. What if he doesn't accept me? What if he says I am lying and kicks me out? I have no where to go.

"Nope, I don't think so." He says half-smiling. He tilts his head to the side as he leans against the door.

"I don't think you are going to believe this honestly but... Jc I am your sister." I say looking into his beautiful brown eyes.

"You're kidding me right?" he says looking like he's about to laugh.

"I wish I was Jc." I say seriously.

"I think this is where I leave." Ricky says. I totally forgot he was there. He waves at me and turns to walk away.

Jc looks at me, "So if you're my sister who are our parents?"

"Honestly Jc, I don't know. I was put into the system a long time ago. Don't ask me why because I don't have the answer. I've been in and out of foster homes all my life, and recently I lost my job and then my home and so here I am with the only family I know of." I say, feeling impatient, I was hoping I wouldn't have to say all that, well not at first. I'm tired and I'm scared he might reject me.

"Okay." He says, his facial expressions tell me nothing. What does okay mean? Okay, you're crazy leave? Okay, I believe you come in and take a nap? Or just okay?

"What do you mean okay?" I say looking at my brother. We do look a lot alike. He is short like me, we have the same eyes and dark brown hair.

"It means okay. I believe you, you look like me and I have no reason not too." He says shrugging. What the hell shouldn't he be asking me more questions like whats our birthday? Who am I? Wow I'm bipolar, I was just hoping he wouldn't ask questions and now I am wondering why he didn't ask more." I realize he hasn't asked my name.

"Ummm well my name is Jessie Marie Castillo." I say looking down at my feet. Why did I say my middle and last name. Great, now he probably thinks I weird.

"Nice to meet you Jessie Marie Castillo. I'm Justin Cloud Caylen." He says grinning,a grin that I realize is a lot like my own.

"Justin Cloud Caylen?" I ask. Why aren't our last names the same.

He sees my confusion, "I legally changed my name my birth name is Justin Caylen Castillo."

"Oh okay." I say, not sure what to say or do. I shiver, the California sun was starting to set, losing its heat.

"Why don't you come in Jessie." He says stepping aside to let me in.
