I told Aaron that I wanted to do something for Evangelina's birthday. I said I wanted to do a dinner and she said she would love it but it would look weird if only us two went.

I told him to invite people and make it seem like his idea and now here we are. Evangelina is clearly annoyed out of her mind but she looks very beautiful.

My parents are next to her parents, the small infant is next to her father, Richard isn't here because he had plans.

Ricky is next to my mom, Lisa is next to Evangelina on her left while I am on her right and Aaron is on my left with Antonio is on Aaron's right and Eva is on Antonio's left.

"So we hope you like the gifts we got you" My mother said making Evangelina smile. "I can already see myself loving them" She said as the waiter walked up to us. "I am Julian and I will be your waiter today" He said.

"First things first I heard that is someones birthday today" He said as he held up a tiara and a birthday girl sash making Diane, Antonio and Lisa start began to record.

"It is her birthday!" Lisa said as she pointed to Evangelina, Julian put the tiara and sash on her making her smile an actual genuine smile. "We have a surprise for you later on but what can I get everyone started with for appetizers?" He asked.

Seeing as Evangelina is Cuban and I think she has had enough Italian food for a while so we are at a cuban restaurant.

"Uh I'll get the sliders" Tommaso said. "I will have the plantain sliders" Diane said. "Ham croquettes for me" My mother said. "Same as her" My dad said as he pointed to my mom.

"Cheese fried yucca balls for me" Eva said, "Same for me" Antonio said. "I will have the mojo shrimp kebabs" Lisa said, "Same for me" Ricky said. "I am gonna pass on the appetizer" Evangelina said making everyone look at her.

"Uh i'll just take the malanga chips" I said making him nod. "It would be best if I take your main course right now" He said making everyone open their menu again.

"Ropa vieja for both of us" Diane said as she pointed to Antonio making him nod, "I will have the shrimp creole" Tommaso said. "We will have pulpeta" My dad said as he pointed at my mom.

"I will have the lechon asado" Aaron said, "I will have tamel en cazeula" Evangelina said. "I will have the same as her" I said. "I want the chicken fingers" Eva and Ricky said. "I will take vaca frita" Lisa said.

"Alright" He said as collected the menus, after that everything turned awkward. I attempted to talk numerous times to Evangelina who would glare at me as a sign for me to shut up.

"So I heard that Evangelina might be seeing someone" Lisa said making everyone look away from their appetizers and look at her. I looked at Evangelina who grabbed my scotch and chugged it as everyone is focused on Lisa.

"Honey? Sweetie? Is that true?" Diane asked Evangelina while I mouthed the words what the fuck to Lisa who smiled and she mouthed back the words I was bored.

"If she was, would it really be your business?" Aaron asked as he took a sip of his drink. "Watch it." Tommaso said, "Oh piss off." Evangelina said to her father.

I like how Evangelina and her siblings stick together, they don't let their parents step on one of them without all of them saying something.

You'd think it would be quiet after that but Diane just started talking about who she doesn't want her to date.

Evangelina is about five seconds away from screaming at her mother to tell her to shut the fuck up. "All I am saying is that I don't want her to end up someone like.....a teacher." She said.
