We Were Soulmates

Chapter 13

Aerin's POV

After an hour, we decided to split up and have alone time with our dates so Kasper and Cedrik said their goodbyes and right now Z and I are inside his car at the parking lot, planning on where to go.

"Maybe we should go to the park?" I suggested, "Hmm, too cliché".

We took turns suggesting every single place to go to but we always disagree with each other. I sighed, "Maybe we should just go to the beach" I mumbled, "What?" Z asked.

"I said maybe we should just go to the beach" I repeated, "That's actually not a bad idea" Z pondered for a few seconds and then said, "Alright we're going to the beach".

"Wait for real?" I unbelievably asked, "Yeah, I figured it would be nice since that's where we first met" I blushed, it's those moments where you feel so happy for them being thoughtful.

We drove to the nearest beach which is about 45 minutes away and just jammed to the radio while we're at it. Z lowered both of our windows and I put my head out feeling the fresh air. I love road trips.

I decided to take pictures and videos just for the memories as we finally arrived at the beach. Honestly, this was the best idea for a first date.

There weren't any people nearby so it was just us, the moon, and the waves. We sat down at the sand and talked about life.

"What do you wanna be in the future? Like what's your dream?" I asked Z, "Frankly, I just wanna live my life, but, I may have to take over my father's company in the near future so I don't know. What about you?"

"I want to be seen, I want to know what it's like to be in front of the camera, the media, being talked about. You know? Just having the attention, ooh, I could be a model! Oh wait, I could also be an actor, honestly I can do anything I put my mind to so there's a lot of options" I rambled.

Z didn't reply so I kind of felt weird that he was just looking at me, he wasn't saying anything, it felt like he was admiring me. As he should though.

Z's POV

God he's so perfect, the way he talks about himself, the way he carries himself. Everything about him exudes beauty.

I know how much Aerin loves to talk and sometimes I get tired of talking while he's still at it and I just end up staring at him. He has a lot to say and he would honestly be perfect for whatever he wants to be.

"Hey are you even listening to me?" Aerin asked, "Uhh yeah" I shrugged.

"So, do you believe in soulmates?" He asked, "I do" I'm kind of neutral on the topic but I know he loves soulmates so I just said I did.

"I do believe we're soulmates, because everything's just falling into places and that's no coincidence. It feels like destiny has finally come upon us and we're born to be with each other. Also I somehow think we had past lived together, don't ask how I know. It's just, oh my gosh you prolly think I'm crazy, ugh! I'm rambling too much" I just laughed at him and gave him a peck.

Sometimes I don't really understand whatever he' saying but I just listen, the vibes are perfect. The sound of the waves, the moonlight, Aerin leaning on my shoulder. Could this night be any more perfect?

Aerin stopped talking for a few minutes and we just stayed like that, just admiring the sea, relaxing. I could see this being our favorite place in the future, but nothing beats the original so I might have to take him to the beach we first met.

That's actually a great idea for our first monthsary, wait are we a couple yet?

"Hey Aerin"

"Yeah?"

"Do you want me to be your boyfriend? Do you wanna be my boyfriend? Do you want us to be toge-" he kissed me.

"Shh, yes I do" as he sat on my lap and leaned in to kiss me.

I've never felt more passionate to kiss him, I let him take the lead this time but I just couldn't wait to dominate him so I flipped us around. I was now on top of him while he laid on the sand. I took advantage of the moment he gasped and kissed him again, I slid my tongue in his mouth as he just let me dominate him.

After we broke the kiss we were breathless, we laid beside each other on the sand and looked up panting. The stars look extra bright tonight, we could stargaze here.

"I never expected to have a boyfriend on the first date" He said.

"Me neither, we're not going too fast are we?"

"I don't think so, maybe? I don't know" Yeah I think we're going a little too fast.

After a few minutes, Aerin sat up and then looked at me, he didn't say anything but just smiled and then cuddled next to me. I opened my arms for him and played with his hair. I guess he loves it because he dozed off a few seconds later.

I took a few pictures of us just cuddling here because I know he's gonna be sad that we didn't take any pictures. He looked cute while sleeping so I don't think he'd mind.

We could honestly stay here but I know I have to get him home so I carried him to my car and made sure he was comfortable. I adjusted his seat so that way he'd still be in a sleeping position and started driving.

The drive home was chill, just the fresh air and the nightlife. There's something about nights that I really find interest in, it's so mysterious in a way that's beautiful.

We arrived at Aerin's house about an hour later and he had his keys on his wallet so I dug in and opened the front door. I laid him on the couch first and then parked my car in the garage.

I then carried him to his bedroom and dropped him gently on his bed. I know how much he loves skin care so I did the honor of removing his makeup and as I was about to go to the bathroom he woke up.

"Z?" He's still sleepy, rubbing his eyes.

"Yes love?" I don't know why I just said that.

"Why are we home?" He asked, "Because it was getting kind of late and you slept so I took you home" I told him.

Aerin smiled, "Thank you".

"You're welcome"

Aerin stands up, walks in the bathroom and does his skincare. How does one wake up and just immediately do skin care without procrastinating? Honestly that's dedication.

"Did you remove my makeup?" He asked.

"Umm yeah I did" I awkwardly admitted, scratching the back of my head.

"Thank you, that was really thoughtful" I smiled and he gave me a peck on my left cheek. He's so cute.

After he was done, he sat beside me on the bed and I was about to say I was leaving but he turns to me and says, "Please stay, cuddle with me" in the cutest way ever and how could I say no to such cutie?

I sighed, "Alright" and then he hugged me. Aerin already changed into sweats so I just took off my shirt and jacket, borrowed one of his larger sweatpants and then cuddled next to him. I think he'll like it more that I'm shirtless. I chuckle, of course, I'm also the big spoon.

"I'm so lucky to have you as my first boyfriend" He mumbles, wait I'm his first?

"Wait seriously? I'm your first?" He has to be lying.

"Yeah I'm dead serious, I've never committed in a relationship before but with you it just feels right" he hugs me.

"I'm also lucky to be with you love, the luckiest man I believe" he chuckles and gives me a peck on the lips.

"Let's sleep"
