We Were Soulmates

Chapter 16

Aerin's POV

Besides doing the you know what with Z, nothing major really happened on Sunday. We just cuddled all day until Z had to go home that night. When he left, I started doing my assignments since I had to pass them this week.

I'm now on the road driving to school and I don't know if I should tell my BFFs that we did it. Probably not, I'll just tell them Z asked me to be his boyfriend and I said yes. I totally shouldn't tell them about my sex life, is that selfish? I don't care.

I got to our school, parked, and instantly went inside to find my gurls. I went to my locker and grabbed a few books while storing other things I need for the day such as lunch. Yes, I did make lunch today, I was bored so I cooked.

The bell rang and students suddenly flooded the halls. I was wondering where the hell are my best friends? I haven't seem them all morning.

I got to my first class and half of the class was already there so I sat to the chair near the window. At least the birds might distract me a little from boredom.

I ended up listening to Mr. Smith for the whole class and I actually did learn something. I mean. English lit. is supposedly easy if you read a lot.

The day felt like a breeze since Calculus and I cannot be more thankful. Gosh school is so boring, now where the hell are my best friends?

The bell rang and I sat under the school's largest tree which is actually very relaxing plus, it protected me from the sun. Yay no UV ray!

I scoffed because my BFFs aren't even replying to my texts. Did they not go to school? Are they sick or something? Omg did they got ran over on the way to school? I knew it!

I finished eating my lunch and then putting my lunch box inside my bag. I closed my eyes for a bit when I heard footsteps not that long after. I peeked through my eyelashes and as I've guessed, it was Z.

"Hey" was the first thing he said.

"Hi"

Z sat beside me and I lean onto his shoulders. He smelled like caramel today, now I'm craving a caramel sundae.

"What are you doing here alone?" He asked and I snuggled closer to him.

"Because..." What was I doing here alone again. "Idk, eating my lunch?" He chuckled.

"You could've eaten with Cedrik and I, we would've welcomed you to our table"

"Correction, that was my BFFs and I's table before I invited you guys but go on" Z then ruffled my hair which I am not thankful for because my hair is not easy to take care of and he draped his arm around my shoulder.

We sat there for a few before the bell rang and we have French together so we walked together to class. Z held my hand which earned a lot of stares from the students, some looking at us like 'omg they're so cute together' and some are like 'I should've been the one he's holding hands with' jokes on them he chose me.

An hour later, our french teacher dismissed us and we were allow to go home. I told him I was gonna get something from my locker and Z told me he'll wait for me outside.

I got to my locker, fixed and grabbed a few things then I headed outside. I saw Z leaning towards the railing of the stairs at our entrance so I quietly tiptoed and back hugged him.

"Christ! You triggered my fight or flight" I chuckled.

"Oh did I?" I raised a brow and Z just rolled his eyes.

He walked me to my car with his hands on my waist, I leaned onto my car door and pulled him closer by wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Come over?" I asked.
