We Were Soulmates

Chapter 4

Aerin's POV

We leave the beach today and I'm the first one awake I guess. They were still asleep at the couch and I decided to go out to get some fresh air.

I went outside and the sun was blinding me already, I forgot my sunglasses, oh well. I sat at our patio and breathed the warm breeze.

This was nice, although I love snow and winter, I also love summer, the thought of hanging out with my friends at the beach, having fun, it all makes me happy. I wish this would never end.

After a few minutes, I heard a noise in the kitchen meaning someone must've been awake so I went inside.

"Morning" Fionne greeted.

"Good morning, you ready to leave today?" I asked her.

"No, but is there any other choice?" With that we chuckled.

We decided to eat pancakes for breakfast so I cooked the batter while they waited for the food. They're all too lazy to cook since they just woke up, I had to do it.

I would say I'm a morning person but I also love nightlife, anyway as I finished cooking the pancakes we sat at the table and ate quietly.

They must all be tired and ready to go home, after we ate Kasper washed the dishes and I went to the bathroom to now take a bath.

30 minutes later, I came out of the bathroom and they were all lined up in front of the door.

"What took you so long?" Elise asked.

"I'm sorry I had a concert, people are paying to see me perform" I joked and they fought on who goes next.

I went upstairs to pack my clothes and things to put inside the luggage I brought. Once I was done, Kasper was still in the shower and I could see that Fionne and Elise already finished taking a bath.

I brought my luggages downstairs and sat on the couch. We all stayed silent for a minute until Kasper got out of the bathroom.

"I look so fresh, so skinny, so pretty" Kasper sang as he dance on the doorframe.

We all just laughed at him and got ready to leave, of course by getting ready meaning doing our makeup and everything whatnot. I didn't want to wear too much makeup so I just put mascara, lip gloss, and a little bit of concealer.

I don't know what came over me but I now wanted to see Z. I have to say goodbye at least but that's not my point, I want him to ask my number. Okay maybe I should ask his number? No, he should, okay whatever.

I went outside to look for him but he was nowhere to be seen, did he leave already? I hope not 'cause if he did I would feel like I went through a breakup, I cannot miss that opportunity.

I didn't see him anywhere so I just gave up, I'm walking towards our beach house with my eyes on the ground. I wish he would just magically appear in front of me and-

"Hey" I looked up to see that Z was standing right in front of me. Shocker.

"Where were you?" I asked annoyed.

"Were you looking for me?"

"No- I mean yes" He smiled.

"What for? Do you need help?"

"Well... I was just wondering if..." What's so hard about speaking just ask his number!

"If?"

"Ifyouwantedmynumberbecauseimnotleavinguntil-"Z then interrupted me by kissing me on the lips, making me shut up.
