"F-Fawn..?" Eve says.

No answer.

"Fawn? Fawn!" Eve screams louder.

Eve shakes her arm, "Fawn if you can hear m-"

BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-

Eve gasps,"No. NONONONONONONNNO!!!! FAAAWWNNN!!!" Eve starts to sob into Fawn's stomach, shattered with the most ultimate pain she has ever experienced.

The doctors rush in.

"Oh no.." One doctor says.

"Her levels were just too high. A teenager like her cannot live through a disease like this." Another one says.

One doctor places her arm on Eve's shoulder, "We did our best. But there was no way. I'm terribly sorry..."

"W-what causes leukemia?" Eve asks shakily.

"Scientists don't understand the exact causes of leukemia. It seems to develop from a combination of genetic and environmental factors."

Matthew comes in with an early birthday present and a bunch of daisies (Fawn's favorite flower), "Hey,hey, hey got some birthday presents for my litt-" He drops everything he has in his hands. He drops to his knees weak. He immediately starts to cry in his hands.

There was tears and silence for about 30 minutes, and then Eve texts Fawn's parents the news. They got immediately devastated. And then Eve's parents heard the news. Almost all of Fawn's close friends and relatives come to the hospital, surrounding Fawn's body.

Later they buy a coffin and place her inside. Days later it's the funeral.

After the whole funeral thing it was Fawn's mom's turn to talk, but she was too sad to. So her father came up.

"Fawn was...an amazing daughter. She had a bright and cheerful personality as well. She had a big imagination and she really looked forward to her future, especially this close to college. Our little girl always grew more and more everyday, battling everyday obstacles. And she always had someone by her side, and her name is Eve. Eve was always there for her, even when she was suffering in the hospital..."

Eve is sobbing the whole speech long, her face wet and red from tears and sadness.

"......and we will never ever forget our Fawn. Rest in peace."

After Matthew's speech he called Eve to say something.

"O-oh I'm not that much of a talker..." Eve says looking down.

"Just say what's in your heart," Matthew says.

Eve nods and walks up to where everyone can see her.

"Fawn. If I were to put that name in a dictionary, it would be the longest one in it. There are so many ways to describe how much Fawn meant to me. As a friend. As a part of my life. She was an outgoing girl. She was always happy and..smiling. And whenever she smiled, it would always give me the tendency to smile back. And I always loved the feeling of being with Fawn its like...some special connection we had. That God gave me this blessing..which was Fawn. She was quite stubborn and bossy too if you ask me but...she had a heart. A heart strong enough to..lift your spirits up. She gave me courage and..and..strength too guide me through the way. At tough times she would always be there. When I was lost she would always be there. She was always there. And that is what best friends are for. You are there for one another, you never let each other down. Fawn, if you're listening now, thank you. Thank you for making my life brighter. Thank you for being there. Thank you for being my best friend. Rest in Peace. May God Bless You. Thank you."

Eve walks down the steps and sits down, leaving many people in tears.

After the funeral, they started Fawn's burial at the graveyard. Eve kneels down by Fawn and says, "I-I miss you Fawn. But...this is what happens in life, friends come and..." She gets interrupted by sobbing into her hands.
