It was the first day of elementary school and Fawn was jumping up and down, ready to make new friends. Eve, on the other hand, was shy and timid, always hiding behind her father's legs.

After her dad met the teacher, he managed to get Eve off his legs.

"But I don't wanna go!" Eve whined.

"But don't you want to make new friends?" Her dad asked, showing his hand to a hyper Fawn.

She just stared at Fawn like she was a demon or something. She hid behind her dad's legs again saying,"No, daddy! I wanna stay home!" Eve whined again.

Her dad sighs and pulls her off his leg. "Take good care of her." Eve's dad said before leaving. Eve ran to the window and screamed, "NO, NO, NO, NOOOOO!!!!! DADDYYYY!!!"

"Come on now, Eve. Class is about to start." Mrs. Harley, the elementary teacher said.

Eve found her name tag on a desk and sat on it. Mrs. Harley then gave a lecture about rules, safely, etc. During the lecture, Fawn, who was sitting right next to Eve, said,"Hey you want to be friends? I like making new friends!"

Eve just stared at her for a while and slowly rose her hand. "M-Mrs. Harley? She's talking."

The whole class just looked back at where Eve and Fawn were. Fawn just blinked.

"Fawn, please no talking while the teacher's talking." Then the whole class was like, "OOOOOOOOOH."

Fawn then said, "Hey, y'all better be quiet 'cause I heard you whispering too!"

"Okay Fawn you can sit down now."

She mumbled to herself while sitting down, "...hypocrites..."

"What does hypocrite mean?" Eve asked hearing part of her mumbling.

"People who are stupid, like everyone here."

Eve gasps, "Am I a hypocrite?"

    "Nah, you're good."

"But I got you in trouble."

    "But you're my friend."

"Wait, I never accepted to be your-"

"Last warning Eve  and Fawn Jefferson. Mrs. Harley said in a stern voice.

    They both nodded.

Ever since that day they became the best of friends.
