"Ate Peachy, where are you going?" a bubbly and vivacious tone from my little sister who was holding a blueberry cupcake asked out of nowhere while we we're at the kitchen.

A smile crept at my face, piercing her a confuse look. "Ba't mo naman 'yan nasabi?" I replied a question.

I licked my fingers as I stood up and headed to the refrigerator to have some refreshments. This little sister of mine requested a juice.

"Here ya go princess." I pushed the glass towards her while saying in a sarcastic adoration.

My eyes fell on her as she spoke once again while her mouth was still full of cupcake. She's really adorable, her cheeks are so fluffy like a red velvet cupcake.

"Because you are dazzling in your red dress, I wonder if you have a date today." She put her fingers in her lips, gesturing that she was thinking. Now, the blueberry's icing sorrounded the corner of her lips. She drank the juice leaving it empty as she gaze towards me.

She frowned suddenly. I let out a delicious chuckle. "So, tell me what's going on her." Pumasok si mommy sa kitchen habang dala-dala ang mga grocery bags, she flashed a smile.

"Hi mom, ate Peachy has a date," sabi ng kapatid ko na ngayon ay nakanguso. I chuckled once more. "Tama ba ang narinig ko Peachy, may date ka?" mommy asked.

"Naku, wag kang maniwala d'yan kay Scarlet mommy," I replied. "Eh, what does your younger sister tells about?" Scarlet hugged mommy as soon as all the grocery bags were on the counter.

"She think that I have a date, where in fact I have none." Humaba na naman ang nguso ng kapatid ko. "Eh, why are you dressed like that if you don't have date pala?" She really is adorable.

"I dressed like this because I have an event to attend to," I said to her, pinahaba ko na rin ang nguso ko kagaya niya. "And the event is a date," she confirmed it as if it was really true, mommy let out a chuckle.

She sighed. "Napakakulit mo talaga Scarlet." I laughed at Scarlet's reaction. At her age, madami siyang tanong na gusto niyang nasasagot. She can even fathom the attitude of a person by reading its action.

"I'm jealous ate Peachy, whoever that guy is, she's so lucky." I can sense the sadness in her voice, so I smiled at her. Pumunta ako sa kanilang dalawa, I pinched both cheeks of her. "I don't have any date nga," I tried to convince her.

"If kung meron man, he's not lucky," I said. Scarlet face began to paint sadness. "Why he's not lucky ate Peachy? You're a golden hearted and a very gorgeous lady kaya," she said.

Wala pa talaga siyang kamuwang-muwang sa mga bagay-bagay na ito.

"He's not lucky, because he's blessed." Mommy smiled. "Scarlet, go finish your dessert na," I told her. Kumawala na siya sa yakap at pumunta sa kanyang upuan.

"So, you don't have a date ha?" mommy asked.

Now, siya na naman. I chuckled softly. "Mommy, you knew me," I reminded, she just nodded.

"Okay okay." She nodded while her eyes were scanning me from head to toe. "But, you're so beautiful in that dress," she complimented me as her protuded eyes met mine.

"Mana sa'yo eh." And we both cackled a laugh. I gaze on Scarlet who was watching us with confusion.

"Why are you laughing, may dumi ba sa mukha ko?" I facepalmed, mommy chortled delightedly.

"Hello Sister Peachy," someone greeted me from behind pagkababa ko sa sasakyan. I can recognize that voice, so I faced him.
